  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 光源からの光を赤、緑、青等の各波長光に分割
    して各色用の液晶表示パネルに照射し、この各色
    用の液晶表示パネルに表示された各画像をダイク
    ロイツクプリズム内のダイクロイツク面で反射お
    よび透過により合成投影する液晶プロジエクタに
    おいて、 前記各液晶表示パネルのうち、前記ダイクロイ
    ツクプリズム内のダイクロイツク面を透過する画
    像を表示する液晶表示パネル、または前記ダイク
    ロイツク面で反射される画像を表示する液晶表示
    パネルの入射側および出射側のいずれかに、光の
    偏光方向を変える変換部材を設けたことを特徴と
    する液晶プロジエクタ。
