    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 酸素イオン伝導性固体電解質層と、該固体電解
    質層を挾持する一対の電極とからなり、被検出ガ
    ス中の酸素濃度を検出する酸素センサにおいて、
    該一対の電極のうち前記被検出ガスに近い電極の
    外側に、水性ガス反応を促進する触媒作用を有す
    る物質を含有する被覆層を形成したことを特徴と
    する酸素センサ。
