本発明は上記の事情にかんがみなされたもので、排水促
進剤を用いて一工程で作業を終了するようにした暗きょ

暗きょ作業41!3は、アップカット方向に回転する大
径のフランジホイール5の外周に多数のυ1耘爪6を装
置して構成した深耕ロータ7の上方にカバー8を設けた
もので、深耕ロータ7による1ノ[深調節をゲージホイ
ール9により行うようになっている。耕耘爪6は、縦刃
部6aの先端から一側にほぼ直角に屈曲し、かつすくい
面を有する横刃aJ(61)を設けたものである。。
上記深耕ロータ7の上方後方寄りには、排水促進剤散布
装置10が設けられている。この排水促進剤散布装置1
0は、液状の排水促進剤13を収容するタンク11から
下方に散布ノズル12を延設し、このノズル12を深耕
ロータ7により掘削されて後方に放出される土塊(El
f±)に対し排水促進剤I3を散布するよう配置しであ
る。ここで用いられる排水促進剤13とは、商品名をソ
イルターといい、土塊表面に耐水性被膜を形成し、土塊
の水食崩壊を防止する高分子系土壌改良剤で、液状のほ
か粉体。
粒体、ゲル状のもの等各種のものがあり、上記タンク1
1をそれぞれの性状に合わせて変更できるものである。
また、ノズル12からvl:水促進剤13を繰出す動力
は、暗きょ作業機3に伝達される動力を受ける場合、モ
ータによる場合のほか、自然落下式にしてもよく、要す
るに均一に排水促進剤I3を排出する構造であればよい
。
このような構成の暗きょ作業機においては、トラクタI
に牽引されながら深耕ロータ7により深溝14を掘削し
、掘削されて後方に放出される土塊に対しノズル12か
ら排水促進剤13が散布され、掘削された深溝14に埋
め戻される。このようにして、−工程で暗きょ造成作業
が行われる。
深溝14内に埋め戻された土塊の表面には、排水促進剤
13によって耐水性被膜が形成されて、圃場表面に溜っ
た水を深溝内に浸透させ、深溝内を移動して1場外に排
出させる。排水促進剤13は、かなり長時間にわたり耐
水性を保持する耐水性被膜を形成し水の流動性を高める
が、これに外圧を加えると容易に破壊することができ、
耕土として悪影響を及ぼさない。排水促進剤13のPH
は6.0〜7.5で、液状の粘度は25℃において約5
