Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シリンダヘツドに回転自在なアイドラスプロケ
    ツトを備え、このアイドラスプロケツトとクラン
    クシヤフト間に掛け回される第一チエーンと、ア
    イドラスプロケツトとカムシヤフト間に掛け回さ
    れる第二チエーンを備え、この第二チエーンが第
    一チエーンよりエンジン前方にオフセツトして配
    置されたエンジンにおいて、シリンダヘツドの上
    部に設けられるロツカカバーと、シリンダヘツド
    の前部に設けられるヘツド側チエーンケースおよ
    び、シリンダブロツクの前部に設けられるブロツ
    ク側チエーンケースとをそれぞれ介して前記アイ
    ドラスプロケツトと第一チエーンおよび第二チエ
    ーンを収装するチエーン室を画成し、ヘツド側チ
    エーンケースのブロツク側チエーンケースに対す
    る接合フランジをロツカカバーに対する接合フラ
    ンジよりエンジン前方にオフセツトして配置する
    とともに、ブロツク側チエーンケースにはヘツド
    側チエーンケースから段差なく連続し、かつエン
    ジン後方に向けて傾斜する傾斜部を形成したこと
    を特徴とするエンジンのチエーンケース装置。
