Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、内側層に設けられた、融着可能な内
側被覆層と段状になつた閉鎖フラツプとを有する
多層の紙袋の内側層を融着する方法に関する。
融着可能な内側層を有する多層の紙袋には種種
異なる構造のものが公知である。例えば帯状シー
トが内側の紙層に内張りされているか又は接着さ
れているものがある。さらに内側層の内面に熱可
塑性の被覆層、例えばポリエチレン被覆層が施さ
れていてもよい。
従来は融着可能な内側層の融着は熱を種々異な
る方法で加えることによつて行なわれていた。例
えば必要な熱を加熱された押圧条片で融着しよう
とする個所に加えることが公知である。又、融着
を赤外線放熱器を使用して行なうことも公知であ
る。
従来公知の方法は、紙袋の片側、例えば前側で
しか融着しようとする内側層に直接的に熱を加え
ることができないという欠点を有している。すな
わち前側の内側層と融着しようとする後ろ側の内
側層は袋の裏側からは直接的に到達することがで
きない。むしろ後ろ側の内側層に加えようとする
熱は後側の内側層を覆う閉鎖フラツプを通して加
えられなければならない。この結果として融着可
能な内側層を有するこのような袋の製造速度と加
工速度は極めて制限される。加工速度は内側層又
は内側被覆層を取巻く外側の紙層の厚さと数とに
よつてほぼ決められる。
本発明の課題は外側の紙層の数と厚さとは無関
係な、できるだけ高い加工速度を可能にする冒頭
に述べた形式の方法を提供することである。
この課題は本発明によれば、融着する前に紙袋
の裏面に配置された閉鎖フラツプを、袋の中央に
向かう方向で見て、内側層の縁の後ろに位置して
いる折り線を中心として旋回させて内側層から離
反させ、閉鎖フラツプを内側層から離反させた状
態で露出した内側層に外部から熱を加えて、互い
に接触した内側被覆層を融着することによつて解
決された。
このような方法は紙袋の加工速度を極めて高め
ることを可能にする。又、この場合には融着に必
要な熱を融着しようとする内側被覆層に直接的に
加えることができ、それを妨げる外側層を熱が通
過する必要がなくなることによつて必要な融着が
迅速に行なわれるだけでなく、質の高い融着結合
性が得られる。
内側層を融着するために必要な熱エネルギは少
なくともほぼ前面から内側層の端縁に加えられる
と極めて有利であることが証明された。
熱エネルギを前面から端縁に加えることは端面
側に配置された赤外線放熱装置によつて極めて簡
単に行なうことができる。この場合には加えられ
るエネルギ量は紙袋の送り速度に関連して調整可
能であると有利である。
本発明の方法の別の特徴によれば折り線は内側
層の端縁と少なくともほぼ同一平面内に位置して
いる。このような実施例に於ては閉鎖フラツプの
折り線の高さまで達していなければならない側面
折畳切込みは省略することができる。
さらに本発明の方法によれば融着に必要な熱エ
ネルギが赤外線放熱器を介して供給される間、内
側層の端縁の範囲を圧着機構を用いて相互に押し
合わせておくことが提案されている。このような
構成は熱が実際に加えられる範囲、すなわち端面
に熱の供給が制限されるという利点を有してい
る。シートは熱の作用によつて収縮するが、これ
は最高でも圧着機構までしか及ばない。これによ
つて融着個所の質は特に良くなる。実地に於ては
圧着機構若しくはこれによつて生ぜしめられた圧
着ラインは約5mmから10mmだけ内側層の端縁の下
に位置している。この場合には5mm〜10mmの露出
した範囲に於て融着及び収縮過程が行なわれる。
このようにして行なわれた融着結合部には加熱さ
れた圧着機構、融着バンド又はそれに類似したも
のによつて形成された通常の融着結合よりも大き
な負荷をかけることができる。
次に図面について本発明を説明する: 第1図から第5図までに示されている側面に折
畳線を有する袋は3層、つまり2層の外側紙層
1,2と同様に紙から成るが内側にポリエチレン
被覆層を備えた1層の内側層3とから構成されて
いる。しかし本発明の方法は任意の数の外側紙層
を有する袋にも適用することができる。外側紙層
の数が増す程、本発明の方法を利用することが有
利である。
内側層3は例えば内張りされたポリエチレン膜
及び(又は)内張りされたアルミフオイルを有し
ていてもよい。さらに内側層3を完全にポリエチ
レンから形成することも可能である。
閉鎖フラツプ4を外向きに旋回させることは折
り線5に沿つて行なわれる。閉鎖フラツプ4を外
側に旋回させることによつて内側層3は両側から
接近可能になり(第4図参照)、例えば加熱溶融
ジヨー16によつて融着することができるように
なる。折り線5は袋の中央に向かう方向で見て融
着しようとする内側層3の縁6の後ろに位置して
いる。
第6図から第10図までに示された実施例に於
ても側面に折畳線を有する袋は全部で3層、すな
わち2層の外側紙層1′と2′と1層の内側層3′
とから構成されている。内側層3′は完全に又は
部分的にポリエチレンから成つている。
閉鎖フラツプ4′を外側へ旋回させることは折
り線5′に沿つて行なわれる。閉鎖キヤツプ4′を
折り線5′に沿つて外側に旋回させることによつ
て内側層3′の端縁6′は熱を加えるために接近し
やすくなる。
ほぼ加熱棒11と反射鏡12とから成る赤外線
放熱器はエネルギを矢印13の方向で内側層3′
の端縁6′に放熱する。この場合、2層の外側紙
層を備えた閉鎖フラツプ4′は第4図に示されて
いるように後方へ旋回させられている。保護シー
ルド14は融着エネルギが内側層3′の端縁6′に
限られて加えられることを保証する。2つの圧着
機構15と16は相互に押し合わされ、融着エネ
ルギが圧着機構15と16から赤外線放熱器に向
かつて突出する範囲よりも大きな範囲に亙つて分
配されることを阻止する。熱の作用に際して圧着
機構15と16とに於ける融着過程が終了する。
圧着機構15,16は内側層3′の端縁6′の約
5mm〜10mm下に位置している。この内側層3′も
プラスチツクで内張された紙層として構成されて
いてもよい。
又、圧着機構15,16は必要な場合には多部
分から構成され、圧着ばねで圧着を行なうように
しておくこともできる。

有する袋の平面図である。 1,2,1′,2′…外側紙層、3,3′…内側
層、4,4′…閉鎖フラツプ、5,5′…折り線、
6,6′…縁、11…加熱棒、12…反射鏡、1
3…矢印、14…保護シールド、15,16…圧
着機構。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 融着可能な内側層又はこの内側層のうえに設
    けられた融着可能な内側被覆層と、段状になつた
    閉鎖フラツプとを有する多層の紙袋の内側層を融
    着する方法に於て、融着する前に紙袋の裏面に配
    置された閉鎖フラツプ4;4′を、袋の中央に向
    かう方向で見て、内側層3;3′の縁6;6′後ろ
    に位置している折り線5;5′を中心として旋回
    させて内側層3;3′から離反させ、閉鎖フラツ
    プ4;4′を旋回離反させた状態で露出した内側
    層3;3′に外部から熱を加えて互いに接触させ
    られた内側層を融着することを特徴とする、多層
    の紙袋の内側層を融着する方法。 2 内側層3′を融着するために必要な熱エネル
    ギを少なくともほぼ前方から内側層3′の端縁
    6′に加える、特許請求の範囲第1項記載の方法。 3 折り線5′を内側層3′の端縁6′と少なくと
    もほぼ同一平面に配置する、特許請求の範囲第1
    項記載の方法。 4 内側層3′の端縁6′の範囲を圧着機構15;
    16を用いて融着過程の間相互に押し合わせてお
    く、特許請求の範囲第1項記載の方法。 5 融着に必要な熱エネルギを放熱量が紙袋の送
    り速度に関連して調整可能である赤外線放熱器に
    よつて加える、特許請求の範囲第1項記載の方
    法。
