PURPOSE:To reduce cracks to be generated and unpolarized parts at the time of polarization and to simplify a jig by commonly grounding ring electrodes at the time of the polarization, and electrically connecting one positions of positive and negative split electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of split electrodes formed on one side face of a piezoelectric ceramic disc 1 are formed in a ring state, and connectors 2, 3 for connecting the electrodes at the outside and inside of electrode row at the time of forming of the split electrodes. On the other hand, a ringlike electrode 6 is so formed on the other side face of the disc 1 as to oppose to the split electrodes. 5を、それぞれ接続用電極2.3によって接続されたも
のを各々子端子、一端子として、これらに各4士、−の
直流高電圧を印加する事により、士、−の各分割電極に
対応した分極処理が一度に行なわれる。分極処理後に接
続用電極2.3を除去する様に、分割電極の外側、及び
内側を超音波加工等により除去する事により、第2図に
示したリング状の圧電振動子7が得られる。即ち第1図
(a)の鎖線の内側、及び外側を除去したものを第2図
(a)に示す。
