  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 車両の衝突時に、折り畳み状態で収納したエア
    バツグ６をガス発生器５の供給する高圧ガスで車
    室内に膨脹させ、乗員の脚部を衝撃から保護する
    脚部保護装置において、 前記ガス発生器５を外力の作用で変形可能なエ
    ネルギー吸収部材９を介して車体８に支持したこ
    とを特徴とする脚部保護装置。
