Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain save of man-hour and to ensure the countermeasure against a trouble by allowing a maintenance personnel carrying a pocket beeper to receive fault occurrence information directly from a building installation monitor and to send the reception to the monitor thereby eliminating the need for the intervention of a centralized monitor center. CONSTITUTION:Building installation monitors 11-14 detect a fault of installation, the fault is sent automatically to a radio equipment 16 carried by a maintenance personnel and sent also to a centralized monitor center. The radio equipment 16 receives information from monitors 11-14 and the maintenance personnel uses a potable radio equipment 16 to grasp the content of a building name and content of the fault, sends reply signal and visits the field quickly. The monitors 11-14 receive a reply signal to report the end of visit to the centralized monitor center. Should the reply be slow, the monitor requests the visit request to the centralized monitor center, and the supervisor of the center makes a phone call to the alternative maintenance personnel. Through the constitution above, a fault is coped with quickly with less number of personnel.

As shown in the flowchart of FIG. 4, the building equipment monitoring device automatically dials the telephone number of the central monitoring center when it detects an abnormality in the equipment, thereby connecting the telephone line between the building equipment monitoring 1 and the central monitoring center 5. The central monitoring center 5 receives abnormal data. The central monitoring center uses a pager to page the maintenance staff in charge of the area, and the maintenance staff calls the central monitoring center to confirm the details.

The pager-carrying maintenance worker directly receives the abnormality occurrence information from the building equipment monitoring device, and sends a notification to the building equipment monitoring device that the information has been received. This eliminates the need for a centralized monitoring center between the building equipment monitoring device and the pager-carrying maintenance staff, thereby reducing the number of personnel and ensuring prompt troubleshooting.

According to the present invention, the pager is provided with a reception content display function, the building equipment monitoring device transmits the same message to the pager at the same time as it transmits the message to the central monitoring center, and the pager-carrying maintenance worker sends a response signal. By configuring the system to send a message to the building equipment monitoring device, which in turn reports response confirmation from maintenance personnel to the central monitoring center, it is possible to reduce the number of monitoring staff in charge of the monitoring center, and at the same time to detect abnormalities. This has the effect of being able to respond quickly.
