方向に傾斜するように配置した一燃焼室上壁を示

- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 シリンダボア及びピストンの断面形状が楕円で
ある多気筒直列型エンジンにおいて、 各気筒に開口する吸排気ポートを、各吸気ポー
ト中心を結ぶ線、及び各排気ポート中心を結ぶ線
が夫々、カムシヤフトの軸線に対し平行になるよ
うに上記各楕円のシリンダボアを、その短径軸線
がクランクシヤフト軸線に対し所定角度傾斜する
ように形成せしめたことを特徴とする多気筒直列
型エンジン。
