A photosensitive layer made of a photoconductor is provided. As the support, a synthetic resin film such as a polyester film with aluminum vapor-deposited on the surface is generally used. In this case, the photosensitive layer is provided on the aluminum vapor deposited layer,
Since the back side of the support is a synthetic resin film, static electricity is generated due to friction, etc. This static electricity makes it easy for dust to adhere to the support, and this is transferred to the surface of the photosensitive layer, resulting in image stains and sensitivity. This was the cause of non-uniformity. Furthermore, when an electrophotographic photosensitive material having the above structure is used by being wound around the drum of a copying machine, since the back surface of the support is smooth, it sticks tightly to the winding drum and is difficult to peel off. There were other drawbacks. Furthermore, the surface of the photosensitive material is generally charged by corona discharge, and the heat generated during this corona discharge causes
There was also a problem in that the synthetic resin film of the support was shrunk and the support was distorted.

When the aluminum foil 6 is laminated on the synthetic resin film 5, even if the aluminum foil 6 is laminated on the surface of the synthetic resin film 5 on which the conductive layer 3 is formed, the aluminum foil 6 may be laminated on the synthetic resin film 5. After lamination, the conductive layer 3 may be formed on the surface of the synthetic resin film 5.

It is desirable to set it to 70μ. Furthermore, when winding the photosensitive material 1 around the drum of a copying machine, in order to improve the sliding on the drum, etc., a rough surface, such as that produced when two sheets of aluminum foil are rolled, is formed on the back side of the photosensitive material 1. という効果もある。 As described above, this invention provides a photosensitive material comprising a support having a conductive layer on its surface and a photosensitive layer formed on the surface of the conductive layer, in which the first layer is the conductive layer and the second layer is the conductive layer. Since the third layer of the synthetic resin film is made of aluminum foil, and the back surface of the aluminum foil is roughened, this electrophotographic photosensitive material has the following effects. In other words, the back side of the electrophotographic photosensitive material of this invention is a rough surface of aluminum foil, so when it is wound around the drum of a copying machine, it does not stick tightly to the winding drum and mechanical winding operation is difficult. It has the advantage of being smooth. Further, when the back surface is made of aluminum foil, there is an advantage that static electricity is less likely to be generated due to friction or the like, and there is less adhesion of dust due to static electricity. Furthermore, as the support for the photosensitive material is composed of a combination of synthetic resin film and aluminum foil as described above, the thickness of the synthetic resin film can be made thinner than the conventional support made of a single synthetic resin film. As a result, heat dissipation throughout the support is improved, and there is also the advantage that the support does not become distorted even by heat during corona discharge. Furthermore, since the electrophotographic photosensitive material of this invention has a metal vapor deposited layer on the front side and an aluminum foil on the back side, it appears to be made entirely of metal, which has the effect of giving it a favorable appearance. .
