Plating or metallic coating has been adopted, but this special electroplating has problems in process control and cost, and metallic coating has a limit to its brightness.

There is also a method of applying a matte top coat to a glossy plated surface, but this technique has poor adhesion between the glossy plated surface and the top coat between the eyebrows, and lacks depth, which is one of the important elements of a sophisticated appearance. , it is not sufficient because the top coat located on the upper layer eliminates the gloss.

However, by using plating for the base layer, the necessary and sufficient toughness in terms of impact resistance cannot be achieved as described above, and no industrially satisfactory method has yet been established.

It has a certain level of appearance, and has a certain degree of depth in appearance, and has a so-called mild metallic luster, giving it a sophisticated appearance. However, it has the disadvantage that sufficient toughness cannot be obtained.

To provide a decorative body for a vehicle that reflects mildly and has good visual recognition, and that can easily obtain a desired design effect in which the state of reflection, color tone, and degree of depth can be arbitrarily controlled. It's about doing.

It has a deep appearance with a so-called mild metallic luster that is sophisticated and elegant. This product is extremely suitable and effective as a vehicle decoration, as it has impact resistance and can express the appearance of a deep, mild metal film. In other words, by combining the above-mentioned undercoat that constitutes the fine grain surface, a bright metal thin film layer formed by metal vapor deposition or sputtering, and the top coat, it can be manufactured easily and inexpensively, and it can produce the deep, noble and elegant taste described above. The objective is to provide a product that can express a certain color tone and a mild metallic luster, and has the necessary and sufficient toughness in terms of impact resistance.
