(Prior art) Various mats have been developed to prevent pressure ulcers that occur in long-term care patients such as bedridden elderly people and critically ill patients, but none of them have been able to achieve a sufficient effect in preventing pressure ulcers. . However, recently, the causes of pressure ulcers are (1) Bone prominences such as the lower back and heels are subjected to continuous pressure, which obstructs the flow of capillaries in those areas, leading to local cell necrosis.

It was revealed that this was caused by As a result, it was found that dispersing the weight of the patient's body weight on the pressure areas and drying the patient's skin is effective in preventing or treating pressure ulcers. Air mats have been proposed that have the function of drying the skin. For example, Utility Model Publication No. 55-18005 proposes an air mat that alternately inflates and deflates air chambers in even-numbered rows and odd-numbered rows while allowing breezes to leak from a large number of air chambers.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) The air mattress mentioned above has an excellent effect on preventing pressure ulcers, but when the air mattress is actually used for a long period of time, the patient's body tends to move toward the feet (or head). There was a problem of gradual movement (toward). Therefore, it is dangerous to use it on patients who cannot move their bodies on their own, and when using it on such patients, it is necessary for nurses to constantly check the position of the patient's body.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors thoroughly studied the structure of conventional pressure ulcer prevention air mats, and found that conventional air mats have air chambers in even rows and air chambers in odd rows. Focusing on the fact that the air supply pipes that supply air to the header pipes connected to each air supply port of the air chamber are all attached to one end of the header pipes, the installation position of the air supply pipes and the long-term use are determined. The present invention was arrived at as a result of further investigation into the relationship with patient movement. In other words, the present invention is based on the air mat, which has a large number of fine holes in the upper part and an air supply port at one end, and which has a large number of air chambers arranged in parallel. Connect the first header pipe, and connect the second header pipe to the air supply ports provided in the air chambers in the odd rows, and let the breeze leak out from the fine holes drilled at the top of the numerous air chambers. In the anti-bedsore air mattress that alternately inflates and deflates the air chambers in even-numbered rows and odd-numbered rows, a first air supply pipe connected to the first header pipe and a second air supply pipe connected to the second header pipe are provided. This air mat for preventing bedsores is characterized in that two air supply pipes are connected to the first and second header pipes at symmetrical positions in the length direction of the air mat.

(Function) Although it is unclear why patients move on the air mattress during long-term use in air mats that alternately inflate and deflate air chambers in even-numbered rows and air chambers in odd-numbered rows, The air that leaks out from the hole flows continuously, albeit slightly, along the patient's body, usually at a small amount of air per minute of 5 to 10 minutes, so when an air supply pipe is connected to the end of the header pipe, The amount of air leaking is different between the air leak hole provided in the air chamber near the position where the air pipe is connected and the air leak hole provided in the air chamber distant from the position connected to the air pipe, and the amount of air leaking is slightly different. However, as the internal pressure of the air volume gradually decreases as it moves away from the connection part of the air pipe, it creates a wave effect in the air chamber,
It is also presumed that a similar wave effect is produced when the air chamber expands and contracts.

In this invention, by connecting the air supply pipe to the effective position in the length direction of the air mat of the header pipe, the generation of the above-mentioned wave effect is prevented, and the patient does not move on the mat during long-term use. It can be prevented.

FIG. 1 is a plan view of the anti-bedsore air mat 1 of the present invention, which includes air chambers M 1 , M 2 , which have an air supply port at one end and have a large number of fine holes 2 in the upper surface.
M12 are arranged in parallel to form the air mat 1. A branch pipe 4 provided in the first header pipe 3 is connected to an air supply port provided in the even-numbered air chambers M 2 , M 4 . . . M 12 of the air chambers constituting the air mat 1. ing. Also, air chambers M 1 in odd rows,
A branch pipe 6 provided in the second header pipe 5 is connected to the air supply ports provided in M 3 ...M 11 . Branches 7 and 8 are provided at positions symmetrical in the length direction of the air mat of each of the header pipes 3 and 5 (in FIG. 1, the center of the length of the header pipe).
A first air pipe 9 and a second air pipe 10 are respectively connected to the air pipes. The above-mentioned symmetrical position may be the center of the header tube shown in FIG. 1, or may be at both ends of the header tube. Usually, an air supply pipe is connected to the center of the header pipe. Each of the air supply pipes 9 and 10 is connected to an air pump 11 via a switching valve (not shown). The elastic bodies may be stored in the air chambers in the even and odd rows, or in the air chambers in the even and odd rows.

The air mat of this invention allows air to continuously leak through the fine holes drilled in the upper part of the air chamber, so the air around the patient's body does not stagnate and the patient is always provided with fresh, clean air. come into contact with the body of
Therefore, the moisture on the skin is removed, thereby preventing bedsores, and the affected area is dried and healed by the flow of fresh air. Furthermore, since the patient's support area moves sequentially from the even-numbered air chambers to the odd-numbered air chambers, it provides a pine surge effect to the patient and promotes healing of the affected area. Furthermore, because the connection positions of the air supply pipes to the header pipes are symmetrical in the length direction of the air mat of the header pipes, air can be uniformly supplied to each air chamber, allowing patients to stay on the mat even after long periods of use. It can be used safely even for patients who cannot move their bodies on their own.
