    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. マフラ本体内の拡張室と共鳴室との間に、一端
    が拡張室に、他端が共鳴室に開口する導管を設け
    、且つ当該導管の他端と共鳴室との連通部をマフ
    ラ本体から膨出させ、当該連通部に導管を開閉す
    るバタフライ弁を配設し、エンジンの低速域にお
    いて閉弁し、高速域において開弁することを特徴
    とするデユアルモードマフラ。
