Claims (1)
- マフラの排気導出管が接続される拡張室に連通
される共鳴室を、当該排気導出管に設けたバルブ
により当該排気導出管と連通可能とし、且つ当該
排気導出管を二重管としてその通路長さを可変と
し、エンジンの低速域において前記バルブを閉弁
して前記排気導出管の通路長さを略外管と内管と
の長さの和とし、エンジンの高速域において前記
バルブを開弁させて前記共鳴室を拡張室変更する
と共に排気導出管の通路長さを略内管の長さとす
ることを特徴とするデユアルモードマフラ。
