パネル嵌着用溝4の底部にウエザーストリツプ1
外方に連通する水抜孔6を形成して、前記ウイン
ドパネル5外側とパネル嵌着用溝4との間から侵
入した雨水等の水を前記水抜孔6から排出して、
パネル嵌着用溝4のウインドパネル5内側から車
室内(図中右方)に水が侵入するのを防止するよ
うにしてある。ところで、前記パネル嵌着用溝4
の底部には全長に亘つて長さ方向に延びる突条7
が形成され、該突条7によつてウインドパネル5
周縁と前記底部との間に隙間を形成し、この隙間
を通つてパネル嵌着用溝4内の水が前記水抜孔6
に案内されるようになつている。

側に夫々当接して、これら両者間のシールを行な
うと共に、ウインドパネル5の保持力を増大する

着用溝の内側両壁および底部に亙つて形成し、ウ
インドパネルとパネル嵌着用溝内側との間隙を大
きくする凹部と、を設けたので、前記パネル嵌着
用溝内に侵入した雨水等の水は、水抜孔周縁に至
つてから当該周縁に形成された凹部によつて表面
張力等の影響も著しく小さくなり、前記水抜孔か
らのスムーズな排出を可能にする。しかも、本発
明では前記凹部パネル嵌着用溝の内側両壁に亙つ
て形成されることにより、空気の流れが良くな
り、排出効果を著しく向上することができる。こ
のため、従来のように水抜孔から排出しきれない
でパネル嵌着用溝内に水が溜まり、この水が車室
内側に侵入することが確実に防止される。また、
前記パネル嵌着用溝の底部に形成された突条およ
び該パネル嵌着用溝の内側両壁に形成されたリツ
プにより、ウエザーストリツプとウインドパネル
との間のシール性を著しく向上するとができると
共に、該リツプよりウインドパネルの保持力を著
しく増大することができるという各種優れた効果
を奏する。
