)に対し試験された。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1、鞘翅目の昆虫の害虫を昆虫抑制有効量のNRRL
B−18299の同定特性を有するバシルスチューリン
ゲンシス(Bacillus thuringiens
is)PS86B1又はその突然変異体と接触させるこ
とからなる鞘翅目昆虫の害虫を抑制する方法。 2、上記昆虫の害虫が鞘翅目に属する特許請求の範囲第
1項に記載の方法。 3、上記昆虫の害虫を、昆虫抑制充分量のバシルスチユ
ーリンゲンシスPS86B1と接触させるにあたって、
上記バシルスチューリンゲンシスPS86B1を餌の顆
粒中に入れ、そしてその顆粒を昆虫の害虫が食べること
が知られている植物の種子を植えるときに土壌上に置く
か又は土壌中に入れることによって接触させる特許請求
の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4、(1)バシルスチューリンゲンシスPS8681又
はその突然変異体、胞子又は結晶を含む餌顆粒を調製し
、そして (2)その餌顆粒を土壌上又は土壌中に入れることから
なる鞘翅目の土壌に生息する昆虫害虫を抑制する方法。 5、上記餌顆粒が土壌中にトウモロコシの種が植えられ
ると同じ時期に適用される特許請求の範囲第4項に記載
の方法。 6、実質的に無傷のバシルスチユーリンゲンシスPS8
6B1細胞、又はその突然変異体が標的害虫の環境に適
用されるときに殺虫活性を持続するように該細胞を処理
する特許請求の範囲第1項又は第4項に記載の方法。 7、殺虫剤担体と組み合わせたバシルスチューリンゲン
シスPS86B1、又はその突然変異体、胞子又は結晶
を含んでいる組成物。 8、上記担体が甲虫食刺激剤又は誘引剤を含んでいる特
許請求の範囲第7項に記載の組成物。 9、種子被覆として適用される処方成分と組み合わせた
バシルスチユーリンゲンシスPS86B1、又はその突
然変異体を含んでいる組成物。 10、鞘翅目の昆虫害虫に対し、活性を有するNRRL
B−18299の同定特性を有するバシルスチューリ
ンゲンシスPS86B1、又はその突然変異体。 11、NRRL B−18299の同定特性を有するバ
シルスチューリンゲンシスPS86B1、又はその突然
変異体の昆虫抑制有効量と鞘翅目の昆虫害虫を接触させ
ることからなる鞘翅目の昆虫害虫を抑制する方法。 12、鞘翅類の害虫が貯蔵産物上に存在する特許請求の
範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13、鞘翅類の害虫がコロラドポテトビートルである特
許請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 14、NRRL B−18299の同定特性を有するバ
シルスチューリンゲンシスPS86B1によって製造さ
れる、鞘翅目害虫に対し活性の毒素。
