Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.双翅類害虫に活性であり、寄託物NRRL B-18747の同定特性を有するバシルス チューリンゲンシス PS92J、寄託物NRRL B-18748の同定特性を有するバシルス チューリンゲンシス PS196S1、寄託物NRRL B-18749の同定特性を有するバシルス チューリンゲンシス PS201L1、及び 寄託物NRRL B-18750の同定特性を有するバ シルス チューリンゲンシス PS201T6からなる群から選択されるバシルス チュー リンゲンシス単離体、及び双翅類害虫に対し活性の性質を保持しているその突然 変異体からのDNAによってコードされる精製された毒素。 2.DNA又はそのバリアントがバシルス チューリンゲンシスPS92J、バシルス チューリンゲンシスPS196S1、バシルス チューリンゲンシスPS201L1、及びバシ ルス チューリンゲンシスPS201T6からなる群から選択されるバシルス チューリ ンゲンシス菌株及び双翅類害虫に対し活性の性質を保持しているその突然変異体 からのものであり、双翅類害虫に対し活性である毒素をコードしているDNAを 含んでいる単離されたポリヌクレオチド配列。 3.SEQ ID No.7の全部又は一部をコードするDNAを含む、請求項2に記載の ポリヌクレオチド配列。 4.SEQ ID No.6の全部又は一部を有するDNAを含む、請求項2に記載のポリ ヌクレオチド配列。 5.SEQ ID No.8に示されるアミノ酸配列をコードする、請求項3に記載のポリ ヌクレオチド配列。 6.請求項2のポリヌクレオチドを含んでいる、組み替えDNAトランスファー ベクター。 7.コーンルートウォームに対し活性であり、バシルス チューリンゲンシスPS2 01T6からの遺伝子によってコードされる蛋白質の全部又は一部を含んでいる毒素 の有効量をコーンルートウォーム又はその環境に投与することからなる、コーン ルートウォームを抑制する方法。 8.該毒素がSEQ ID No.7に示されるアミノ酸配列の全部又は一部を含んでいる 請求項7に記載の方法。 9.該毒素がSEQ ID No.8に示されるアミノ酸配列を含んでいる請求項8に記載 の方法。
