    た仕切板を複数段設けて、上記筒状本体内を複数
    の小室に分割し、おのおのの該小室内に粒状濾材
    を収蔵してなる濾過装置において、 前記仕切板の流通孔が前記仕切板毎に異なる大
    きさに形成され、該仕切板が前記流通孔の大きい
    順に前記懸濁液の流入側から順次設置され、 前記粒状濾材が珪酸カルシウム水和物を主成分
    とする粒状の多孔質材である ことを特徴とする濾過装置。
