The present invention relates to a method for controlling fur pests. Since fur is susceptible to damage from pests if stored in poor conditions, storage has traditionally been considered important. Pest control on fur is done by sealing the fur with insect repellent, but when insect repellent is used, its odor sticks to the fur, and some insect repellents only repel insects; cannot be made to die. Therefore, pest control using insect repellents is incomplete, and the plants are often damaged by pests. Therefore, a method for completely controlling the pests on fur is desired, but a method for completely controlling the pests without damaging the quality of the fur has not yet been found. The present invention provides an innovative method for controlling fur pests that can accomplish this objective. That is, the present invention is a deoxidizing material made by sealing fur with an oxygen absorbing composition in a breathable packaging material, and the breathable packaging material has a moisture permeability of 25°C and a RH difference.
10 to 150 g/m 2 24hr at 75%, and a substantially non-breathable packaging material or airtight container together with a deoxidizing material that has an equilibrium RH of 50 to 90% when the deoxidizing material itself is sealed. This is a method for controlling fur pests, which is characterized by sealing the skin and controlling fur pests. Fur includes wild fur and farmed fur; the former includes, for example, weasel, marten, squirrel, flying squirrel, raccoon dog, fox, bear, and fur, while the latter includes, for example, rabbit, mink, etc. Oxygen scavenger compositions are solid compositions that absorb oxygen, such as iron, iron powder such as iron carbide, reducing inorganic salts such as sulfites and ferrous salts, hydroquinone, catechol, pyrogallol, and gallic acid. The main active ingredient is a reducing agent selected from the group consisting of polyphenols such as, for example, reducing sugars such as glucose, reducing polyhydric alcohols such as ascorbic acid, erythorbic acid, etc. I can give you something to do. Among them, those containing iron powder and an electrolyte, such as iron powder and metal halide, are preferred. The deoxidizing material used in the present invention is made by sealing an oxygen absorbing composition with a breathable packaging material, and the breathable packaging material has a predetermined moisture permeability, and the deoxidizing material has a predetermined equilibrium RH. It is something. Moisture permeability is 10-150g/ m2・24hr, especially 20-70g/m2.
m 2 ·24 hr is preferable, and equilibrium RH is preferably 60 to 90%. According to the present invention, it is possible to completely control bur moths, burrs, snail beetles, and other various fur pests. In the present invention, the use of insect repellents and other insecticides and
Although no sterilization method is required, insect repellents and the like can also be used together. Examples will be given and explained below. Example 1 5 burr larvae, 5 g of rabbit fur, and deoxidizing material (iron powder, salt, and moisture permeable to 50 g/m 2

(RH70%) was placed in a KOP/PE bag (150 x 200 m/m) and sealed with approximately 500 ml of air. This was used as the deoxidizing material treatment area, and 5 similar specimens were prepared at 24°C.
Stored indoors. After 96 hours, all the bags were opened and the number of deaths was recorded. Confirmation of death is 24 days after opening.
It was left in a room at ℃ for 5 days, and the judgment was made by not moving at all during that time. As a control group, specimens were prepared under the same conditions except that no deoxidizing material was added, opened in the same manner as in the deoxidizing material treatment group, and the number of deaths was recorded. The results are shown in Table 1.
