This had the disadvantage that the ink fell off and the uneven pattern became unclear. Another method was known in which the surface of decorative plywood is partially pressurized to form uneven parts, and only the convex or recessed parts are colored, but the former method has the disadvantage that the unique taste of plywood is lost.
The latter method has the disadvantage of being technically difficult, and also requires the intervention or impregnation of a synthetic resin in order to prevent the recesses from restoring, making the work complicated.

る。 The present invention aims to provide a method for manufacturing decorative plywood having a pattern that eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks,
A decorative plywood made by sequentially laminating a plurality of veneers of different wood species or colors on a board is partially pressurized to form an uneven pattern, and then the veneers on the surface of the convex parts of the uneven pattern are removed, It is characterized in that the veneer on the underside is exposed, and a pattern is formed on the decorative plywood by the wood species or color tone difference of the veneer.

が得られる。 As shown in Fig. 1, a veneer board 2 with a thickness of about 0.3 mm is pasted on a substrate 1 via a thermosetting resin adhesive.
Further, a decorative plywood is prepared in which a veneer 3 of about 0.15 mm thick and made of a different resin or a different color tone from the veneer 2 is adhered to the surface of the veneer 2 via a transparent thermosetting resin adhesive. Next, the surface of this decorative plywood is polished with a wide belt sander 4 as shown in FIG. 2, and then a thermosetting resin undercoat 6' is applied to the surface of this decorative plywood with a roll coater 5 as shown in FIG. After drying, a decorative plywood shown in FIG. 4 with a coating pattern 6 formed on the surface of the decorative plywood is obtained. When a metal plate 7 having an uneven pattern as shown in FIG. 5 is placed on the surface of this decorative plywood and this is pressed by hot presses 8 and 8', the metal plate 7 has convexities as shown in FIG. A decorative plywood in which the portion corresponding to the raised portion 9 is recessed is obtained. Next, use a wide belt sander or the like to completely remove the thermosetting resin undercoat 6 and the upper layer veneer 3 adhering to the protrusions, and coat the entire surface of the protrusions with the lower layer as shown in Figure 7. The decorative plywood has a veneer 2 exposed. An undercoat 10 is applied to the convex portion using a roll coater or the like, and after drying,
By polishing with a wide belt sander or the like, applying top coat 11 with a roll coater or the like, and drying, a decorative plywood having patterns of different resins or color tone differences in the uneven parts as shown in Fig. 8 is obtained. can get.

You can also use When such a metal plate is used, it is possible to obtain a decorative plywood with a variety of designs in which recesses are further formed at both ends of the bottom surface of the recess. Of course, the uneven pattern may be formed on the decorative plywood by other known methods without using such a metal plate. Further, this pattern is not particularly limited, and a desired pattern may be selected depending on the use of the decorative plywood.

使用により不鮮明になることはない。 In addition to the decorative plywood in which the uneven pattern is still formed even after removing the upper layer of plywood as in the above embodiment, as shown in FIG. As shown in Figure 10, the upper layer of veneer is removed to create an almost flat surface, and as shown in Figure 11, a base coat 10 and a top coat 11 are applied to this surface.
It is also possible to obtain a decorative plywood with a pattern created by the difference in wood species or color tone of the veneer. This pattern is also due to differences in the veneer itself, so it will not become unclear after many years of use.

よりも薄くしておくのがよい。 As the veneer boards 2 and 3, any material made from precious woods such as walnut, rosewood, oak, etc. that is used as a decorative surface material for cabinets, building materials, furniture, etc. can be used, and the thickness is usually 0.1. A thin material of about 0.3mm to 0.3mm is used. The upper layer veneer 3 and the lower layer veneer 2 need to be different in wood species or color tone, and when the color tone is different, it is due to the difference between the wood grain and straight grain, the difference in the wood grain pattern, or the shading of these. There are differences, etc. The thickness of the two types of veneers may be the same or different, but the thickness of the upper layer 3
For economical reasons, the upper layer of veneer 3 is replaced with the lower layer of veneer 2 because the convex portion is removed after the uneven portion is formed.
It's best to keep it thinner than that.

支えない。 The adhesive used to attach the substrate 1 and the lower veneer 2 and the lower veneer 2 and the ascending veneer 3 should be an adhesive that is normally used for bonding wood. Can be done. However, in order to adhere the upper layer veneer 3 and the lower layer veneer 2, transparent thermosetting is used so that even if only the upper layer veneer is removed, the wood grain and wood-like pattern of the lower layer veneer can be fully seen. Although it is preferable to use a plastic adhesive, other adhesives may be used as this adhesive can be ground away together with the upper layer of veneer.

を更に明瞭とすることができる。 It is not necessarily necessary to apply either an undercoat or a topcoat on the decorative veneer, but when applied as in the above example, the gloss of the undercoat and topcoat is greatly changed, thereby reducing the concave pattern and raised areas. Since the gloss can be easily changed between parts, the difference in unevenness can be made even clearer.

A veneer board is attached, and then a 0.15 mm thick rice cedar (grained) veneer board is attached on top of this veneer board using a transparent latex-based thermosetting adhesive. Next, a transparent amino alkyd resin undercoat paint is applied to the surface of the veneer using a roll coater. A metal plate with an area ratio of ridges of 1/20 and a depth of 1 mm of unevenness was placed on the decorative plywood thus obtained, and this was pressed with a pressure of 10 kg/cm using a normal hot press for plywood. 2. Pressing was carried out under heat and pressure conditions at a temperature of 110°C to form an uneven pattern with an average depth of about 0.5 mm on the decorative plywood. This was then completely ground to remove the rice cedar veneer on the protrusions using a wide belt sander, and the teak veneer was revealed over the entire surface of the protrusions. After that, a base coat of transparent amino alkyd resin paint is applied to the convex parts using a roll coater, and after polishing with a wide belt sander, a top coat of transparent amino alkyd resin paint is applied using a roll coater, and the decorative plywood has an uneven pattern. I got it. The thus obtained decorative plywood not only has different wood species in the concave and convex parts, but also has a different grain and straight grain, so that a raised uneven pattern is expressed.
In addition, since the depth of the uneven portion is shallow, it can be manufactured without requiring strong pressure, and its elasticity is difficult to recover.

利点が得られる。 As described above, according to the manufacturing method of the present invention,
It is possible to express a pattern by contrasting wood grains and wood tones with excellent aesthetic appearance due to differences in wood species or color tones, and since this pattern is due to the difference in the material of the veneer itself, it will not change even after many years of use or due to temperature changes. This has the advantage that the pattern will not be erased even if the wood loses its elasticity due to environmental changes such as humidity or humidity.
