Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (イ)産業上の利用分野 本発明は、高温下で使われる搬送手段1例えば高温の熱
処理炉中を被処理物を積載して搬送するためのトレーや
コンベア等の搬送手段を作る構成部品に関するもので、
炭素繊維又は無機繊維を円筒状に巻回したものである。
(ロ)背景技術 高温熱処理炉の炉内搬送は、炉内温度が耐熱鋼の耐熱度
1200℃位までは耐熱鋼等を材料とするトレー又は耐
熱鋼線を組合せたベルトコンベアが使用されている。
炉内温度がこれ以上の温度域にあるときには。
金属ではモリブデンやタングステン、非金属ではアルミ
ナ等が用いられ、1800℃以上では炭素又は黒鉛材料
が用いられ、炭素又は黒鉛材料で作られた搬送手段は炉
内温度が3000℃まで酎え得るものである。
かかる炭素又は黒鉛材料で作られた搬送手段として1本
発明者は添付図面の第1図にて示されるベルトコンベア
を考案した。このベルトコンベアは、*素mt&を円筒
状に巻回して成形した構成部品を扁平にした部材lの多
数を蝶番状に連らねて、これらを連結棒2とナツト3で
連結したものである。
また、本発明者は炭素又は黒鉛材料で作った搬送手段の
他の一例として、第2図に示されるトレーも考案した。
第1図の扁平部材1と同様に符号5で示される円筒状構
成部品は、炭素m維を円筒状に巻回して成形したもので
、この円筒状構成部品5の多数を連結手7を有する黒鉛
材料で作った連結ブロック6で桝組み等に連結してトレ
ーを得るものである。
(ハ)発明の開示 上述した如く、炭素m維を第3図に図示される如くに円
筒状に巻回して得た円筒状構成部品を扁平にして用いた
、あるいはそのまま用いたベルトコンベヤやトレー等の
高温下搬送手段は、その優れた耐熱性に加えて軽量であ
るという利点を有する。
ところで、前記した炭素繊維は市販されているものであ
り、それは1000〜3000”Oの高温下で引っ張り
強さが100〜500 Kg/−書2であり1例え低グ
レードの炭素繊維でも100〜2゜OKg/llzもの
引っ張り強度を有するものである。
そこで、この炭素繊維で作成した扁平円筒状構成部品の
巻回された炭素繊維の厚さをlamとし、第1図に示す
ベルトコンベアの幅を2.00mmに組立てたとすると
、単純にいえばその引っ張り強度は20000〜400
00Kg/am 2とft’J、通常の高温熱処理炉の
コンベアベルトの必要引っ張り強さである20〜40K
glIIm2の約1000倍もの過剰強度となる。そし
て、0.2 mmの厚さでもなお過剰強度といえる。
従って、炭素aysになる円筒状構成部品は、l■もの
厚みを必要としないことになり、より薄くても良いこと
になる。
この点に着目したのが本発明であり、炭素繊維9を円筒
状に型8の上に巻回する時に第3図の如くに互いに密着
するように巻回しなくとも、第4図の如くに炭素繊維が
互いに多数の交点10を有するように巻回して、これを
接着剤で固定すれば、不必要な厚みを有しないでより軽
量の構成部品が得られるのである。
(ニ)実施例 第4図に示すように、径25層層の円柱状の型8上に、
径約フルmの高強度炭素繊維9を互いに多数の交点lO
をなすように巻回し、との巻回した炭素mm群の上に炭
素系接着剤を塗付し、Fa維どうしを固着した。
次に、離型した円筒状の炭素miaを300”0で熱処
理して、接着剤を不融化処理し、続いて不活性雰囲気炉
で100q”Oに加熱して炭化処理し、  た。
かくして得られた炭素繊維になる円筒状の構成部品の多
数を扁平にして、第1図のコンベアベルトを製作した。
このコンベアベルトは1800”0を超える高温熱処理
の炉内搬送手段として充分な耐熱性を持ち、引っ張り強
さも充分であり、しかも軽量でベルトコンベアの駆動源
に余分な負荷も与えなかった。また、ベルトコンベアの
幅方向に対する引っ張り強さも充分であった。
同様にして得た円筒状の炭素繊維になる構成部品を、第
2図にようにして連結して樹形トレーとしたが、軽くて
しかも耐熱性に富んだトレーが得られた。
(ホ)発明の効果 以上の如く、本発明は多数の炭素繊維又は無機繊維から
なり、これを環状にかつ互いに交叉接触するように巻回
されて一体に固着した構成部品であり、高温特に180
0℃を超える高温熱処理下の搬送手段、例えばベルトコ
ンベアやトレー等を構成する部品として充分な耐熱強度
を持ち、しかも極めて軽量で炭素繊維の使用を節約でき
る効果を有するものである。

第1図は本発明の構成部品を使ったコンベアベルトを示
す平面図、第2図は同部品を使ったトレーの組立て方法
を示す斜視図で、第3図は構成部品を作るための炭素繊
維の巻回方法の一例を示す説明図、第4図は本発明にな

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1.  多数の炭素繊維又は無機繊維からなり、これを環状に
    かつ互いに交叉接触するように巻回されて一体に固着し
    てなることを特徴とする高温下で使われる搬送手段用の
    構成部品。
