Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold a member to be checked with a supporting member stably even when the member to be checked is extending outward from a cavity and to avoid application of excessive force on a connector, by providing the supporting member for supporting a board to be checked on a board holding tool, and supporting the member to be checked with the supporting member from the lower part. CONSTITUTION:An electronic device is constituted with a printed board 1. The shape and the size of the spacer of a board holding tool are made to be the same shape and size of the board 1. A connector on the side of a cabinet is coupled with a connector 2. A connector 3 is coupled to the side to be checked. The terminals of both connectors 2 and 3 are connected with conducting foils 4. The board to be checked is supported with a supporting member 5. The supporting member 5 is formed in an L shape. The supporting member 5 is fixed to the various parts of the board 1 through a raised-up part 6, which is provided at the corner part by using screws 7. The removal of the member 5 is made easy by providing a removing lever 8, which is provided at the tip of a short side part 9 of the member 5.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In electronic devices equipped with a large number of replaceable printed circuit boards, the printed circuit boards are often placed close to each other and arranged side by side, as shown in FIG. 5, for example, from the standpoint of space. In FIG. 5, 25 is a cabinet. 26 and 27 are connectors provided within the cabinet 25 for coupling with connectors provided on the printed circuit board. 28 and 29 are kite rails provided in the cabinet 25 for holding printed circuit boards.

By the way, when inspecting or repairing a printed circuit board inside the device, it is desirable to do so with the printed circuit board (hereinafter referred to as the board to be inspected) attached, but as mentioned above, each printed circuit board should be close to each other. Since the board to be tested is lined up in parallel, it is difficult to apply the probe of the tester to the electronic components on the board to be tested, or to adjust adjustable parts (variable capacitors, variable resistors, etc.) on the board. The task of doing so is difficult. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, it is conceivable to use an inspection spacer 30 made of a printed circuit board similar to the above-mentioned board to be inspected. The spacer 30 has a connector (
(not shown in the figure), and each has a connector 31 at the other end that connects to a connector provided on the board to be inspected.
The surface has conductive patterns that connect the terminals of the connectors at both ends.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the above configuration, the board to be tested is held only by the bonding force of the connector, and if the board to be tested is made of, for example, glass epoxy material or has heavy parts, If the connector is quite heavy, a considerable force will be applied to the connector, and in some cases, there is a possibility that the connector will be damaged. In addition, since the board to be tested is made to protrude outward from the cabinet by inserting a spacer, workers performing inspections and repairs must be careful not to wobble the board to be tested or disconnect connectors. , which was extremely difficult to work with.

3 and 4 show the state in which the board to be inspected is mounted. In FIGS. 3 and 4, the substrate to be inspected 1
5 is placed on the guide rail 11 of the support member 5, and the connector 16 on the board to be tested side is connected to the connector 3 of the test tool. Inspection and repair work is performed in this way
5 can be carried out while being firmly supported by the support member 5, the operator does not have to worry about wobbling of the board 15 to be inspected or disconnection of the connector, etc., making the work very easy. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the short side 9 of the support member 5 is in contact with the front surface 20 of the cabinet, so
A portion of the weight of the substrate to be inspected 15 on the long side portion 12 of the support member 5 is supported by the front surface portion 20 of the cabinet.

17 is a lever for removing the board 15 to be inspected;
It is rotatably attached to a corner portion of the substrate 15 to be inspected by a rotary pin 10 . When removing the board 15 to be inspected, the lever 17 is pulled in the direction of arrow A. Then,
Since one tip of the lever 17 hits and pushes the support member 5, the connector 16 and the connector 3 can be separated very easily. Further, when removing the main board holder, the lever 8 is pulled in the direction of arrow B. Then, the tip of the lever 8 comes into contact with the front surface 20 of the cabinet and pushes it, making it possible to separate the connector 2 and the connector 14 very easily.
