A conventional device of this type is shown in FIG. 1, for example. In the figure, 1 is an antenna mirror surface, 2 is a reinforcing material for the antenna mirror surface 1, 3 is a heating element mainly using a planar heater, 4 is a heat insulating material, and 5 is a support for attaching the heating element and the heat insulating material to the antenna mirror surface. It is a board.

Next, the operation will be explained. The amount of heat generated by the heating element 3 is directly radiated to the antenna mirror surface 1.
can be conveyed to. This amount of heat increases the temperature of the antenna mirror surface 1, and the structure is such that snow accumulation is removed.

As described above, conventional snow removal devices are effective in removing snow from the antenna mirror surface directly above the heating element because the amount of heat generated by the heating element is transmitted to the antenna mirror surface by direct radiation. The drawback was that the ability to remove snow from more distant areas was low.

Furthermore, since the temperature rise of the antenna mirror surface is not uniform, there is a drawback that the amount of thermal deformation of the antenna mirror surface becomes locally large.

This invention was made in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional ones as described above, and by providing a heat reflecting plate around the heating element, the amount of heat generated by the heating element is not transmitted to the antenna mirror surface by direct radiation. The object of the present invention is to provide a device for removing snow that can uniformly transmit snow to the mirror surface of an antenna via convection in an intermediate air layer.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 2, 21 is an antenna mirror surface, 22
23 is a heating element mainly using a rod-shaped heater, 24 and 25 are first and second heat reflecting plates, and 26 is a reinforcing material for the antenna mirror surface 21. This is a support plate for attaching to 21.

Of the heat generated by the heating element 23, most of the heat transmitted to the heat reflection plates 24, 25 by radiation is reflected between the heat reflection plates by appropriately selecting the material and shape of the heat reflection plates 24, 25. It is used to increase the temperature of the air layer between the reflectors. As a result, the heated air layer flows along the antenna mirror surface due to natural convection, and the amount of heat is uniformly transmitted to the antenna mirror surface, so that the antenna mirror surface 2 in the part far from the heater
1 as well, it becomes possible to have uniform snow removal ability. Furthermore, since the temperature rise of the antenna mirror surface becomes uniform, it is also possible to prevent local thermal deformation of the antenna mirror surface 21.
