ペダルをすこし踏んでも強く踏んでも制動灯は、同じよ
うに点灯する。ブレーキを踏むタイミングを十分の一秒
後れた為追突事故を発生した例もある。後続車両が目視
で緩やか、急ブレーキか、適確な判断ができるような、
構造の自動車を求められていたが実現しなかった。

動する様な構造になっている。従来の制動灯では後続車
両は前車のブレーキ制動の状況判断が行えなかったが、
本発明の緊急ブレーキ点滅灯を設置することにより、前
車の異常事態の状況判断が可能となり、迅速に減速動作
へと移ることができるので安全運転に必要な車間距離が
保持できる。ブレーキ制動時、従来の制動灯と緊急ブレ
ーキ点滅等が表示されるので明確に前車の異常事態が判
る効果もあり、高速道路等でのテストでも300メート
ル後方からでも確認可能となり追突事故減少に効果が期
待されるものである。
