一シリンダの排気弁を少量リフトさせて開き、排
気管中の排気の一部を吸気行程中のシリンダ内に
吸入せしめるようにした排気再還流装置を備える
内燃機関において、吸気ポートより導入される吸
気をシリンダ上壁に沿つて流動せしめ、以つてシ
リンダ内でシリンダ軸線方向に沿つた吸気旋回流
を形成する縦スワール形成手段を備え、さらに排
気ポートより吸入される排気の方向を上記吸気旋
回流方向に近似せしめる排気偏向手段を備えるこ
