Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 被写体に対して複数の投光手段から互いに
    異なる測距領域でなる複数の測距用光ビームを照
    射すると共に、前記被写体から得られる複数の戻
    り光ビームを前記複数の投光手段に対応して設け
    られた複数の受光手段で受光し、当該複数の受光
    手段から得られる複数の測距情報に基づいて、前
    記被写体までの距離情報を自動的に設定して焦点
    を調節する自動焦点カメラにおいて、 撮影者が任意に前記測距領域を設定し得る測距
    領域選択手段と、 当該測距領域選択手段から選択信号が入力され
    たときは、前記複数の受光手段から得られる複数
    の測距情報に基づいて自動的に設定された前記被
    写体までの前記距離情報に代え、前記選択信号に
    対応した前記測距領域の前記受光手段から得られ
    る前記測距情報に基づいて、前記被写体までの距
    離情報を設定して焦点を調節する焦点設定手段と を具えることを特徴とする自動焦点カメラ。 (2) レリーズボタンを半押しした状態で、測距
    動作を実行して測距情報を得ると共に、前記レリ
    ーズボタンを半押しした状態で、当該レリーズボ
    タンを離すと前記測距情報が廃棄されるようにな
    された実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の自動
    焦点カメラにおいて、 前記測距領域選択手段は、前記レリーズボタン
    が半押しされた状態で操作し得る ことを特徴とする自動焦点カメラ。
