Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は商品に盗難防止装置を付ける方法、及び該方法
を実施するためのインク／染料／塗料に係る。商業、流
通及び製造分野では盗難が重大な問題であり、盗難や万
引きを防止及び／又は困難にするために一般に各種のシ
ステムが使用されている０例えば衣料品販売では施錠式
ハンガーや警報ボタンがあり、警報ボタンは衣服につけ
られたまま出口を通ると警報を始動する。現状のシステ
ムは、廉価な商品や時価が例えば２５ニーＳＥＫ以下の
商品では費用がかかり過ぎ、現状の設計の警報ボタンを
使用するのは無益である。
既知の技術に部分的に基づいている本発明は、上記及び
他の関連する問題を解決するものである。
本発明の方法は、磁化可能な粒子を含むインク、特に印
刷インクを商品に例えば印刷によって付着すること、粒
子を例えば印刷時に磁化すること、及び例えば精算所で
の支払い及び／又は店舖を離れる時に管理点又は走査時
にｅＸ識を消磁することを特徴とする。こうして盗難を
効果的に防止し、対価を支払わずに店舗から出ていこう
とする者がいると、出口で警報信号が発生され得る。磁
化された粒子が所定の感知点又は走査点を通ると、消磁
されていない標識は既知の方法で感知され得、警報信号
が誘発され得る。
本発明は、上記方法で使用されるインクにも係る。イン
クは、物品又は既に付着されているインクにインクを付
着すると磁化されるように構成された磁化可能な粒子を
含んでいることを特徴とする。
このようなインクを製造するには、例えば所定の粒径を
有する亜鉛華のような色顔料を添加する。
印刷インクは商品及びパッケージに価格表示するのに一
般に使用されており、例えばバーコードの形態でラベル
又はパッケージに直接付着されている。価格は通常可動
「ベン」を使用することにより又は価格表示を固定走査
ステーションに通過させることにより走査される０本発
明によると、印刷インクに磁性粒子を加える。磁性粒子
は通常の永久磁性材料、例えばＡｌｎ１ｃｏ型の酸化物
磁石等であり得る。
印刷時まで粒子は非磁性（インク中では非磁性）である
０粒径は色顔料の粒径に調整される。インクは、ラベル
に付着してパッケージに表示するときに磁化される０粒
子は「ペン」により又は固定ステーションで走査される
と消磁される。走査は価格走査と同時に行ってもよいし
、例えば出口に配置された別のステーション（好ましく
は見えないようにしておく）で行っても良い。
例えばパッケージ全体に共通の盗難防止ｆｆｌ識を付け
ることができない場合、本発明の方法は箱、パレット又
は他の何らかのパッケージに装填された多数の商品にも
使用でき、パッケージ全体を消磁することができる。こ
の場合、より強いエネルギーインパルスを使用して消磁
すべきである。
透磁性、粒径等に関して種々の特性を有する各種の磁化
可能な粒子をインクで使用することができ、２種以上を
組み合わせると、各種の盗難防止標識化商品の認諏、各
種の型の盗難品の種々の測定等のような管理能力が増加
する。
上述したように、大型の箱、装填パレット等のようなパ
ッケージに装填された個々の物品に標識し、パッケージ
全体に共通の標識を消磁するか又はパッケージの個々の
物品を同時に消磁することもできる。インクは商品を装
填又は包装する前に箱又は包装材料に均一に付着され得
る。
上述のように、消磁は価格走査と同時に実施され得る０
価格表示はコンピュータにより制御されるか又は位置決
め原則に基づいて作動するエネルギーパルスにより従来
通りに実施され得る。磁化についても同様である。磁化
用のエネルギーインパルスは例えば電界又はレーザー界
であり得る。
磁化は価格表示とは別に実施してもよい。

Claims (6)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）商品に盗難防止装置をつけるための方法であって
    、磁化可能な粒子を含んでいるインク／染料／塗料、特
    に印刷インクを例えば印刷により商品に付着し、粒子を
    例えば印刷時に磁化すること、及び例えば精算所での支
    払い時及び／又は店舗を離れる時に管理所で標識を消磁
    することを特徴とする方法。
  2. （２）価格表示と共に磁化し、価格の走査時に消磁する
    ことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の方法。
  3. （３）染料で標識した商品を箱、パレット又は他の何ら
    かのパッケージに装填し、まとめて又は別々に磁化する
    こと、及び例えばより強いエネルギーインパルスを使用
    することによりパッケージ全体の盗難標識を消磁しする
    ことを特徴とする請求項１又は２に記載の方法。
  4. （４）例えば価格の走査時に、可動ペンにより又は固定
    走査ステーション内で消磁することを特徴とする請求項
    ２に記載の方法。
  5. （５）インクが、物品又は既に付着されているインクに
    インクを付着すると磁化されるように構成された磁化可
    能な材料の粒子を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項１
    から４のいずれか１項以上に記載の方法で使用されるイ
    ンク／染料／塗料。
  6. （６）粒子が、管理能力を増すために各種の方法で組み
    合わせ可能な２種以上の型から成ることを特徴とする請
    求項５に記載のインク／染料／塗料。
