- Conveyance equipment usually has a vertical path and uses self-propelled carts to travel over multiple floors, but it is difficult to travel along a vertical path when transporting heavy objects. For this purpose, it is conceivable to provide an elevator that spans multiple floors, and to move the self-propelled cart over the multiple floors via this elevator. However, this method cannot be easily realized because it is difficult to connect the rails installed on each floor to the rails inside the elevator.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a transport facility consisting of a rail and a self-propelled cart that is guided by the rail and can travel on a fixed route between a plurality of structures. and a rail cutout is provided between adjacent structures, and an intermediate rail having a length shorter than the length of the rail cutout and capable of supporting the self-propelled bogie is installed in the rail cutout. The intermediate rail has the same cross-sectional shape as the rail, and is provided with a drive device that reciprocates the intermediate rail in the direction along the constant path.

According to this configuration, when transferring the self-propelled cart at the rail-deficient portion, first the relay rail is moved to one side on which the self-propelled cart is traveling and connected to the rail on the one side. In this state, the self-propelled cart that has been traveling on one rail is transferred onto the relay rail, and then stopped on the relay rail. Next, the relay rail is moved to the other side together with the self-propelled cart by the operation of the drive device, and is connected to the rail on the other side. This allows the self-propelled cart to be transferred from the relay rail to the other rail. Note that by performing a reverse operation, the self-propelled cart can be transferred from the other side to the one side. Therefore, by providing rail gaps between adjacent buildings, the rails can be separated between buildings;
Furthermore, by providing a rail missing portion between the inside of the building and the inside of the elevator, the rail can be separated between the two.

is provided. Here, the rail 1 has a C-shaped cross section and is disposed with the top open. Further, although the running and going-around sections are installed side by side, this may be a single-line type for both going and returning. The self-propelled truck 3 includes a machine frame 6 having wheels 4 and friction drive wheels 5, and a machine frame 6 having wheels 4 and friction drive wheels 5.
It consists of a cargo storage section 7 attached to the upper part of the container. A rail cutout 8 is provided at a suitable location on the fixed route 2, and the rail cutout 8 has a length shorter than the length L of the rail cutout 8 and capable of supporting the self-propelled cart 3. A relay rail 9 is provided so that its length direction follows the fixed path 2. This relay rail 9
has the same cross-sectional shape as the rail 1. A drive device 10 for reciprocating the relay rail 9 in the direction along the constant path 2 is provided. This drive device 10 includes a case 11 disposed below the rail cutout 8, a guide rod 12 supported by the case 11 and extending along a constant path 2.

When transferring the self-propelled trolley 3 from the left side to the right side in FIG. 1, first the relay rail 9 is moved to the left side and connected to the left rail 1 as shown by the solid line in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3. In this state, the left rail 1
The self-propelled cart 3 that has been running on the relay rail 9 is transferred onto the relay rail 9 and stopped on the relay rail 9. Next, as shown in the imaginary line in FIG. 1 and in FIG. 4, the relay rail 9 is moved to the right side together with the self-propelled trolley 3 and connected to the right rail 1. Thereby, the self-propelled cart 3 can be transferred from the relay rail 9 to the right rail 1. Note that the self-propelled trolley 3 can be transferred from the right side to the left side by performing the reverse operation.

The reciprocating movement of the relay rail 9 is performed by a drive device 1.
This is possible by operating the motor 16 of 0. That is, the disc 18 is rotated by the rotation of the output shaft 17 of the motor 16, and the roller 19 is caused to revolve around the output shaft axis. As a result, the movable plate 14 is guided by the guide rod 12 and reciprocated through the elongated hole 15, thereby reciprocating the intermediate rail 9, which is integral with the movable plate 14, along the fixed path 2. Since the crank mechanism is adopted in this way, the gap (about 2 mm) between the left and right fixed rails 1 and the relay rail 9 can be easily maintained, and the repeatability can be stabilized.

FIGS. 5 to 7 show usage patterns, respectively. That is, in FIG. 5, when the rail 1 is disposed between adjacent buildings (structures) 21, a rail missing portion 8 is formed between these buildings 21, and a relay rail 9 is provided. According to this configuration, construction can be performed without connecting the rails 1 at all, so vibrations such as those caused by earthquakes are not transmitted to other buildings, and damage to the rail fixing portions can be prevented. Further, in FIG. 6, a fixed rail 1 is provided in an elevator (structure) 22 that can go up and down over a plurality of floors, and a relay rail 9 is provided at each floor. According to this configuration, the rail missing portion 8 can be used to arrange and open/close the doors for each floor corresponding to the elevator 22, and furthermore, by pushing the relay rail 9 into the elevator 2, the interior of the elevator 22 can be fixed. Connection with the rail 1 can be easily and reliably made. Further, in FIG. 7, a relay rail 9 and a drive device 10 are disposed within the elevator 22.

According to the present invention having the above configuration, the existence of the rail missing portion makes it possible to separate the rails between adjacent structures, such as between buildings or between the inside of a building and the inside of an elevator. and elevators can be moved up and down without interference from each other. The transfer of the self-propelled cart can be easily and reliably carried out by moving the relay rail supporting the self-propelled cart within the rail cutout and connecting it to the opposing fixed rail.
