Abstract

PURPOSE:To inform a driver of a parking position by detecting a vehicle to arrive at a parking area entrance and informing the driver of the number of an idle parking block with a sound by a sensor to detect a parking in each parking block. CONSTITUTION:When a light from a light source 4 is interrupted to arrive at a photo-detector 5 by an incoming vehicle, an incoming vehicle detecting device Cs decides there is an incoming vehicle C2 in the entrance. Sensors S11-Sn are provided to respective parking blocks P1-Pn. A parking condition is monitored by a signal processing means 10 based on signals from the respective sensors and a signal from a keyboard 15. When there is the idle block, a signal is outputted to convert the number of the said block to the sound from a sound synthesizing output device 9 and given through an AMP 8 to a speaker 7. Then, the signal is sound-outputted. Until a setting time passes, since a timer 14 controls the means 10 so that the block, which is sound- outputted, can not be managed as the idle block, the vehicles are not overlapped.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] This invention is used in a parking lot, and when entering the parking lot, the driver is asked to tell the driver at the entrance of the parking lot, by voice, the number of the vacant parking lot except for the parking lot that cannot be used temporarily. The present invention relates to a method for indicating a parking position in which notification is given by audio and display.

As a result of processing the sensor signals with a signal processing means, if an empty parking lot is found that is temporarily unavailable due to construction or delivery, etc., the number of that lot is voiced to the driver of the car about to enter. Or, in addition to informing you by voice and display, the number of available parking lots output by voice will not be treated as an empty lot until the time specified by the voice output device has elapsed, even if it is vacant, and only two parking spaces can be parked in one lot. Make sure that more than one car is duplicated.

Figure 1 schematically shows a parking lot, p1 to Pn are parking bays, and s1 to Sn are sensors (for example, metal detectors) installed in each parking bay, which detect whether a car is parked or not. detects whether the signal is present and provides it to the signal processing means. c.

Reference numeral 11 designates a signal processing means connected to the plurality of sensors S1 to an and a keyboard u9 for inputting a section that is temporarily unavailable due to construction or the like, and I designates a timer. The parking status of each parking lot is constantly monitored by the signal processing means α1 based on the signals from each sensor and the signal from the keyboard u9. A signal an for converting the number of the section into speech is output from the speech synthesis output device (9). C2 is a gate provided between the voice output device (3) and the voice synthesis output device (9), through which the entrance vehicle detection signal (6) generated from the voice synthesis output device (9) and the light receiver (5) is transmitted. is input.

Therefore, when a vehicle attempting to enter reaches the entrance and is detected by the entering vehicle detection means aS, the numbers of vacant parking bays (except for the bays that are temporarily unavailable at that time) are output by voice.

In other words, if there are no cars trying to enter, there will be no audio output (but if there are cars trying to enter, there will be an audio output). When a driver hears an empty parking lot by audio, he can drive straight to that lot. Well, you don't have to search around the parking lot.

By the way, the car does not reach the parking lot immediately after passing through the entrance (it takes some time. Therefore, until the car reaches the parking lot, it is necessary to instruct the entering vehicle where to park. Therefore, if you instruct the next car to use the same parking lot, the two cars will head toward the same lot (which is not desirable. Therefore, set a predetermined time with Timer I. Then, the signal processing means is controlled so as not to treat the block as an empty block until a predetermined time has elapsed. If the block is still vacant after the predetermined time, the block is outputted again as an empty block.
