さらに、本開示全体を通じて、特に明記しない限り、「含む」、「含む」、「含有する」または「有する」という語は、他の構成要素の排除を意味するものではなく、他の構成要素をさらに含むことを意味し、さらに列挙されていない要素、材料、またはプロセスは排除されない。
文脈が明確に別段のことを示さない限り、本明細書で使用される用語の単数形は、複数形を含むものと解釈され得る。本明細書で使用される場合、「a」、「an」および「the」の単数形は、文脈が明確に別段のことを示さない限り、複数の指示対象を含む。
本開示で使用される数値範囲は、下限値と上限値を含む範囲内のすべての値、ある形式で論理的に導き出され、定義された範囲内に及ぶ増分、すべての二重制限値、および異なる形式で定義された数値範囲内の上限値と下限値のすべての可能な組み合わせを含む。例として、組成物の含有量が10%~80%または20%~50%であると定義されている場合、10%~50%または50%~80%の数値範囲も本開示の明細書に記載されていると解釈されるべきである。本開示で別途定義されていない限り、実験誤差または値の切り捨てにより数値範囲外になる可能性がある値も、定義された数値範囲に含まれる。
本開示の目的上、特に示されていない限り、本開示で使用される成分の量、反応条件、寸法、物理的特性などを表すすべての数値は、すべての場合において用語「約」によって修飾されていると理解されるべきである。以下、本開示において特に定義されていない限り、「約」は、記載された値の 30%、25%、20%、15%、10%、5%、3%、2%、1%、0.5%、0.1%、0.05%、または 0.01% 以内の値とみなされる。反対の指示がない限り、本開示で説明される数値パラメータは、本発明によって得られることが求められる所望の特性に応じて変化する可能性がある近似値である。
本発明の広い範囲を説明する数値範囲およびパラメータは近似値であるにもかかわらず、特定の例で説明される数値は可能な限り正確に報告されている。しかし、いかなる数値も、それぞれの試験測定で見られる標準偏差から必然的に生じる一定の誤差を本質的に含んでいる。
Claims (14)
- 金属層と、
前記金属層上に形成された触媒層と、を含み、
前記触媒層は、
銀及びイリジウムを含み、
前記触媒層は、
前記銀を含み、前記金属層と接触する第1層と、
前記イリジウムを含み、前記第1層上に形成される第2層と、を含み、
前記第2層に含まれるイリジウムは金属相を有する、酸素発生反応用の触媒電極。 - 前記触媒層に含まれた銀及びイリジウムの少なくとも一部は、
互いに化学的に結合する、請求項1に記載の触媒電極。 - 請求項1に記載の触媒電極であって、触媒層中にイリジウムが0.02~0.8mg/cm2の担持量で含まれることを特徴とする触媒電極。
- 前記金属層は、
金属メッシュ、金属フォーム(foam)、金属ホイル、金属フェルト、及び金属繊維からなる群より選択される1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の触媒電極。 - 前記金属層は、
チタン、ニッケル、及びステンレススチールからなる群より選択される1つ以上の金属を含む、請求項4に記載の触媒電極。 - 前記第1層に含まれた銀の少なくとも一部は、
前記金属層の金属と化学的に結合する、請求項1に記載の触媒電極。 - 前記触媒層は、
バインダーを含まない、請求項1に記載の触媒電極。 - 金属基板に銀及びイリジウムをコーティングする段階を含み、
前記金属基板に銀及びイリジウムをコーティングする段階は、
銀イオンを含む銀前駆体溶液に前記金属基板を投入することにより、前記金属基板上に銀を含む第1層を形成する段階と、
イリジウムイオンを含むイリジウム前駆体溶液に前記第1層が形成された金属基板を投入することにより、前記第1層上に金属相のイリジウムを含む第2層を形成する段階と、を含む、酸素発生反応用の触媒電極の製造方法。 - 前記第1層を形成する段階は、
前記第1層がコーティングされた基板を熱処理する段階を含む、請求項8に記載の触媒電極の製造方法。 - 前記第2層を形成する段階は、
前記第2層がコーティングされた基板を熱処理する段階を含む、請求項8に記載の触媒電極の製造方法。 - 前記金属基板に銀及びイリジウムをコーティングする段階の前に、
前記金属基板を酸処理する段階をさらに含む、請求項8から10のいずれか一項に記載の触媒電極の製造方法。 - 前記銀前駆体溶液は、硝酸銀、酢酸銀、硫酸銀、過塩素酸銀、銀アセチルアセトネートおよび銀メタンスルホン酸塩からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの銀前駆体を含み、および/またはイリジウム前駆体溶液は、塩化イリジウム水和物、臭化イリジウム、イリジウムアセチルアセトネート、ヘキサクロロイリジウム酸、ヘキサクロロイリジウム酸ナトリウム、およびヘキサクロロイリジウム酸カリウムからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のイリジウム前駆体を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 電解質膜と、
前記電解質膜の一面に位置するアノードと、
前記電解質膜の他の一面に位置するカソードと、を含み、
前記アノードは、
金属層と、
前記金属層上に形成され、銀及びイリジウムを含む触媒層と、を含み、
前記触媒層は、
前記銀を含み、前記金属層と接触する第1層と、
前記イリジウムを含み、前記第1層上に形成される第2層と、を含み、
前記第2層に含まれるイリジウムは金属相を有する、酸素発生反応用の膜電極接合体。 - 請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の触媒電極を水電解装置または燃料電池に組み込むための使用。
