近年、タッチセンサは、ユーザと電子機器との間の情報通信チャネルとして、携帯電話、ノートパソコン(notebook computer)、衛星ナビゲーションシステム、デジタルAVプレーヤなどの携帯型電子製品に広く用いられている。

Claims (7)
- 可視領域と、前記可視領域の少なくとも片側に周辺領域とを有するタッチセンサであって、
基板;
前記基板の表面上に配置され、前記可視領域に対応する複数のタッチ電極を含む、タッチ電極層;および
前記周辺領域に対応しかつ前記基板の表面上に配置される、複数の周辺トレース、
を含み、
前記タッチ電極層は、金属ナノワイヤ層の第1の部分によって形成され、前記金属ナノワイヤ層は、マトリクスと、前記マトリクス内に分布された金属ナノワイヤとを含み、
前記周辺トレースの各々は、第1の導電層と、前記第1の導電層上に配置された第2の導電層とを含み、前記第1の導電層は、前記金属ナノワイヤ層の第2の部分によって形成され、前記第2の導電層は金属材料で構成され、
前記周辺トレースの各々のライン幅は、6μm以上、10μm未満であり、前記周辺トレースの任意の隣接する周辺トレースのライン間隔は、6μm以上、10μm未満であり、
前記可視領域の幅に対する、前記可視領域の片側の前記周辺領域の幅の比は、0.003~0.010の間であり、
前記第1の導電層の側壁は、前記第2の導電層の側壁と位置合わせされていることを特徴とするタッチセンサ。 - 前記周辺トレースの各々のライン幅が8μm以下であり、前記周辺トレースの任意の隣接する周辺トレースのライン間隔が8μm以下である、請求項1に記載のタッチセンサ。
- 前記第1の導電層が、前記第2の導電層の下面に接触する、請求項1又は2に記載のタッチセンサ。
- 前記第1の導電層および前記タッチ電極層が、同じ水平面上にある、請求項1又は2に記載のタッチセンサ。
- 前記金属ナノワイヤ層の前記第1の部分と、前記第2の部分とが、それらの間に界面を有さず一体的に形成される、請求項1又は2に記載のタッチセンサ。
- 前記周辺トレースを覆うフィルム層をさらに備える、請求項1又は2に記載のタッチセンサ。
- 前記第2の導電層が、単一の金属材料または合金材料から構成される単層構造、あるいは、2つ以上の金属材料または合金材料から構成される二層構造または多層構造である、請求項1又は2に記載のタッチセンサ。
