Description
本出願は、その開示が参照により援用される2020年2月14日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/976,645号及び2019年3月28日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/825,326号への優先権を有し、これを主張する。
自動車市場において、車両のスタイリングに非常に重点がおかれている。車両の販売のために、車両の見た目は、車両の機械的信頼性又は安全性等級と同じくらい重要であり得る。したがって、自動車製造業者は車両のスタイリングを強化するために多大な努力を行ってきた。これらのスタイリング強化は、消費者により多くの色の選択肢を提供すること、及びまた「フォトクロミック効果」を有する車両を提供する金属フレークを有する色を提供することを含む。
表3は、本発明の例示的なコーティング組成物を示す。報告される厚さは、別途述べない限り、ナノメートル(nm)単位の幾何学厚さである。基材は、2.1mmクリアカバーを有する厚さ2.1mmのクリアガラス基材である。基層は第1の誘電層であり、中心層は第2の誘電層であり、上層は第3の誘電層である。
Claims (15)
- 基材;
前記基材の少なくとも一部分の上に適用された機能性コーティング
を含むコーティング物品であって、前記機能性コーティングが、
前記基材の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の誘電層であって、前記第1の誘電層は、前記基材の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の膜、および、前記第1の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の膜からなる、第1の誘電層;
前記第1の誘電層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の反射金属層;
前記第1の反射金属層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1のプライマー層;
前記第1のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の誘電層であって、前記第2の誘電層は、前記第1のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の膜、前記第1の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の膜、及び、前記第2の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第3の膜からなる、第2の誘電層;
前記第2の誘電層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の反射金属層;
前記第2の反射金属層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2のプライマー層;及び
前記第2のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第3の誘電層
を含み、
前記機能性コーティングは、2つの反射金属層からなり、
前記コーティング物品が、少なくとも35且つ55以下のRgL*値を有する、コーティング物品。 - 前記RgL*値が少なくとも42である、請求項1に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記RgL*値が52以下である、請求項2に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記反射金属層の少なくとも1つが、銀又は金の少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記誘電層の少なくとも1つが、スズ酸亜鉛、酸化亜鉛、窒化ケイ素、アルミニウムドープ酸化亜鉛、ガリウムドープ酸化亜鉛、インジウムドープ酸化亜鉛、マグネシウムドープ酸化亜鉛、バナジウムドープ酸化亜鉛又はインジウムドープ酸化スズを含む、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記第1の誘電層の前記第1の膜が、スズ酸亜鉛を含み、前記第1の誘電層の前記第2の膜が、酸化亜鉛、窒化ケイ素、アルミニウムドープ酸化亜鉛、ガリウムドープ酸化亜鉛、インジウムドープ酸化亜鉛、マグネシウムドープ酸化亜鉛、バナジウムドープ酸化亜鉛又はインジウムドープ酸化スズを含む、請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記第2の誘電層の前記第1の膜が、前記第1のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分の上に、酸化亜鉛を含み、前記第2の誘電層の前記第2の膜が、スズ酸亜鉛を含み、前記第2の誘電層の前記第3の膜が、酸化亜鉛、窒化ケイ素、アルミニウムドープ酸化亜鉛、ガリウムドープ酸化亜鉛、インジウムドープ酸化亜鉛、マグネシウムドープ酸化亜鉛、バナジウムドープ酸化亜鉛又はインジウムドープ酸化スズを含む、請求項1から6までのいずれか一項に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記第3の誘電層が、酸化亜鉛又はスズ酸亜鉛を含む前記第2のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の膜、及び、前記第1の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した酸化亜鉛、スズ酸亜鉛、窒化ケイ素、アルミニウムドープ酸化亜鉛、ガリウムドープ酸化亜鉛、インジウムドープ酸化亜鉛、マグネシウムドープ酸化亜鉛、バナジウムドープ酸化亜鉛又はインジウムドープ酸化スズを含む第2の膜を含む、請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載のコーティング物品。
- 保護層を含む最外側保護コーティングをさらに含み、前記保護層が、Si3N4、SiON、SiAlN、SiAlON、チタニア、アルミナ、シリカ又はジルコニアの少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1から8までのいずれか一項に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記保護層が、酸化ケイ素アルミニウム又は酸化チタンアルミニウムを含む、請求項9に記載のコーティング物品。
- 基材;
前記基材の少なくとも一部分の上に適用された機能性コーティング
を含むコーティング物品であって、前記機能性コーティングが、
前記基材の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の誘電層であって、前記第1の誘電層は、前記基材の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の膜、および、前記第1の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の膜からなる、第1の誘電層;
前記第1の誘電層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の反射金属層;
前記第1の反射金属層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1のプライマー層;
前記第1のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の誘電層であって、前記第2の誘電層は、前記第1のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の膜、前記第1の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の膜、及び、前記第2の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第3の膜からなる、第2の誘電層;
前記第2の誘電層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の反射金属層;
前記第2の反射金属層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2のプライマー層;及び
前記第2のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第3の誘電層
を含み、
前記機能性コーティングは、2つの反射金属層からなり、
前記2つの反射金属層の合計厚さが、少なくとも10ナノメートル且つ30ナノメートル以下である、コーティング物品。 - 前記2つの反射金属層の合計厚さが、22ナノメートル以下である、請求項11に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記2つの反射金属層の合計厚さが18ナノメートル以下である、請求項12に記載のコーティング物品。
- 前記反射金属層の少なくとも1つが金属銀を含む、請求項11から13までのいずれか一項に記載のコーティング物品。
- コーティング物品を作製する方法であって、
基材を用意するステップ;並びに
前記基材の少なくとも一部分の上に機能性コーティングを適用するステップであって、
前記基材の少なくとも一部分と直接接触して第1の誘電層を形成することであって、前記第1の誘電層は、前記基材の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の膜、および、前記第1の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の膜からなる、形成すること;
前記第1の誘電層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触して第1の反射金属層を形成すること;
前記第1の反射金属層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触して第1のプライマー層を形成すること;
前記第1のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触して第2の誘電層を形成することであって、前記第2の誘電層は、前記第1のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第1の膜、前記第1の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第2の膜、及び、前記第2の膜の少なくとも一部分と直接接触した第3の膜からなる、形成すること;
前記第2の誘電層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触して第2の反射金属層を形成すること;
前記第2の反射金属層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触して第2のプライマー層を形成すること;及び
前記第2のプライマー層の少なくとも一部分と直接接触して第3の誘電層を形成すること
を含むステップ
を含み、
前記機能性コーティングは、2つの反射金属層からなり、
前記2つの反射金属層の合計厚さが、少なくとも10ナノメートル且つ30ナノメートル以下であり、
前記コーティング物品が、少なくとも35且つ55以下のRgL*値を有する、方法。
