Description
項1. たんぱく質、脂質、及び糖質を、たんぱく質:脂質:糖質の重量比100:67~122:231~356で含み、
カルニチン、その塩、及びそれらの誘導体よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を10~30mg/100ml、
ビオチンを2~5μg/100ml、
セレンを1~3.5μg/100ml、
亜鉛を0.5~1.2mg/100ml、及び
マグネシウムを10~25mg/100ml含む、栄養組成物。
項2. 更に食物繊維を含む、項1に記載の栄養組成物。
項3. 酸性の領域でゲル化する食物繊維を含む、項1又は2に記載の栄養組成物。
項4. 前記ゲル化特性を有する食物繊維が、ペクチンである、項3に記載の栄養組成物。
項5. pHが5.8以上である、項3又は4に記載の栄養組成物。
項6. 25℃の粘度が2~100mPa・sであり、且つ、
栄養組成物50mlと人工胃液(pH1.2、塩化ナトリウム2.0g/L、塩酸7.0ml/L)50mlとを混合した場合に、得られる混合液の25℃での粘度が500~10000mPa・sになる、項3~5のいずれかに記載の栄養組成物。
項7. 食物繊維として、ガティガムを含む、項2~6のいずれかに記載の栄養組成物。
項8. 2型糖尿病患者の食事療法に使用される、項1~7のいずれかに記載の栄養組成物。
本発明の栄養組成物は、エネルギー源として、たんぱく質、脂質、及び糖質を含有する。
たんぱく質:1.6~4.8g/100ml、好ましくは2.4~4.4g/100ml、更に好ましくは2.8~4g/100ml。
脂質:1.07~5.87g/100ml、好ましくは1.93~4.77g/100ml、更に好ましくは2.49~4.0g/100ml。
糖質:3.7~17.1g/100ml、好ましくは6.3~14.3g/100ml、更に好ましくは7.9~12.3g/100ml。
本発明の栄養組成物は、カルニチン、その塩、及びそれらの誘導体よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種(以下、カルニチン類と表記することもある)を含む。カルニチン類は、耐糖能を改善する作用が知られている成分である。
本発明の栄養組成物は、ビオチンを含む。ビオチンは、グルコース応答性の一過的なインスリン分泌を促進する作用が知られている成分である。
本発明の栄養組成物は、セレンを含む。セレンは、インスリン分泌低下やインスリン抵抗性を改善できることが知られている微量元素である。
本発明の栄養組成物は、亜鉛を含む。亜鉛は、インスリン分泌低下やインスリン抵抗性を改善できることが知られている微量元素である。
本発明の栄養組成物は、マグネシウムを含む。マグネシウムは、インスリン分泌低下やインスリン抵抗性を改善できることが知られている微量元素である。
本発明の栄養組成物は、前述する成分の他に、食物繊維を含むことが好ましい。本発明において、食物繊維とは、消化酵素で消化されない炭水化物である。
本発明の栄養組成物は、更に、必要に応じて、レシチン、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル、グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル等の乳化剤、pH調整剤、ビオチン以外のビタミン類(ビタミンB1、ビタミンB2、ナイアシン、葉酸、ビタミンB12、パントテン酸、ビタミンC、ビタミンA、ビタミンE、ビタミンD、ビタミンK等)、前記以外の微量元素(ナトリウム、塩素、カリウム、カルシウム、リン、クロム、モリブデン、マンガン、鉄、銅、ヨウ素等)、甘味料、酸化防止剤、防腐剤、調味料、着色料、香料等の添加剤が含まれていてもよい。
本発明の栄養組成物は、水溶性成分(たんぱく質、糖質等)と脂溶性成分(脂質等)が含まれているので、乳化状態であることが好ましい。本発明の栄養組成物の乳化形態については、特に制限されず、水中油型又は油中水型のいずれであってもよいが、好ましくは水中油型が挙げられる。
本発明の栄養組成物は、健常人の栄養補給食として使用することもできるが、インスリン分泌低下やインスリン抵抗性を改善できる成分を含み、食後の急激な血糖値の上昇を抑制できるので、糖尿病の予防又は治療用の栄養補給食、特に2型糖尿病の食事療法に使用される栄養補給食として好適である。
本発明の栄養組成物の製法については、特に制限されないが、例えば、乳化形態にする場合であれば、水に、配合する各成分を所定量添加、混合した後に、ホモジナイザーで乳化し、必要に応じて加熱殺菌することによって製造することができる。
1.栄養組成物の調製
表1に示す成分を配合した水中油型乳化形態の液状栄養組成物を調製した。具体的には、ローメトキシルペクチンを除く各成分を水に加えてミキサーで混合した後、pH調整剤及びローメトキシルペクチンを加え、高圧ホモジナイザー(「LAB-1000、APV社製)にて均質化(50MPa、2パス)を行った。均質化して水中油型乳化形態にした栄養組成物はパウチに100ml充填した後に、加熱殺菌処理(121℃、10分)に供した。
8週齢の雄ラット(Crl:CD(SD))を、ガンマ線照射固形飼料(「CRF-1」、オリエンタル酵母工業株式会社)による6日間の給餌期間、その後1日間の絶食期間を経て、馴化させた。次いで、ラットを、各群の体重が均等になるように第1群(13匹)及び第2群(12匹)に分けた。
1.栄養組成物の調製
表3に示す成分を配合した水中油型乳化形態の液状栄養組成物を調製した。具体的には、ローメトキシルペクチンを除く各成分を水に加えてミキサーで混合した後、pH調整剤及びローメトキシルペクチンを加え、高圧ホモジナイザー(「LAB-1000、APV社製)にて均質化(50MPa、2パス)を行った。均質化して水中油型乳化形態にした栄養組成物はパウチに100ml充填した後に、加熱殺菌処理(121℃、10分)に供した。
栄養組成物をパウチから取り出して25℃での粘度を、B型粘度計(「RB80L型」、東機産業株式会社)にて、Lアダプターを使用し回転数12rpmにて測定した。
Claims (6)
- たんぱく質、脂質、及び糖質を、たんぱく質:脂質:糖質の重量比100:67~122:231~356で含み、
カルニチン、その塩、及びそれらの誘導体よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を10~30mg/100ml、
ビオチンを2~5μg/100ml、
セレンを1~3.5μg/100ml、
亜鉛を0.5~1.2mg/100ml、
マグネシウムを10~25mg/100ml、及び
酸性の領域でゲル化する食物繊維を含む、栄養組成物。 - 前記ゲル化特性を有する食物繊維が、ペクチンである、請求項1に記載の栄養組成物。
- pHが5.8以上である、請求項1又は2に記載の栄養組成物。
- 25℃の粘度が2~100mPa・sであり、且つ、
栄養組成物50mlと人工胃液(pH1.2、塩化ナトリウム2.0g/L、塩酸7.0ml/L)50mlとを混合した場合に、得られる混合液の25℃での粘度が500~10000mPa・sになる、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の栄養組成物。 - 更にガティガムを含む、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の栄養組成物。
- 2型糖尿病患者の食事療法に使用される、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の栄養組成物。
