Claims (6)
- 車輪に装着されるドラムブレーキ(B)が有するバックプレート(13)内に、パーキングブレーキ力を発生させることを可能としたパーキングブレーキ機構(33)が配設され、当該パーキングブレーキ機構(33)を駆動する動力を発揮する電動アクチュエータ(38)が前記バックプレート(13)外に固定配置される電動パーキングブレーキ装置において、前記電動アクチュエータ(38)のアクチュエータケース(40)が、前記ドラムブレーキ(B)の前記車輪への装着状態で前記車輪の回転中心(C1)よりも上方に配置され、
前記パーキングブレーキ機構(33)が、前記電動アクチュエータ(38)からの動力を受けて回動するパーキングブレーキ操作子(34)を備え、前記電動アクチュエータ(38)からの動力を伝達すべく前記電動アクチュエータ(38)および前記パーキングブレーキ操作子(34)間に設けられる連繋手段(37)のうち少なくとも前記バックプレート(13)内に配置される部分が前記パーキングブレーキ操作子(34)の回動方向の接線方向に延出されて前記パーキングブレーキ操作子(34)に接続され、前記連繋手段(37)のうち少なくとも前記バックプレート(13)外に配置される部分は屈曲して前記電動アクチュエータ(38)に接続されることを特徴とする電動パーキングブレーキ装置。 - 前記連繋手段(37)が、前記ドラムブレーキ(B)の前記車輪への装着状態で前記バックプレート(13)内では前記車輪の回転中心(C1)の下方位置に配索されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動パーキングブレーキ装置。
- 前記アクチュエータケース(40)が、前記車輪の回転中心(C1)と平行な方向からの側面視で前記バックプレート(13)の最外周(13a)よりも内方位置に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電動パーキングブレーキ装置。
- 前記電動アクチュエータ(38)の姿勢が、当該電動アクチュエータ(38)の出力部材(39)の作動軸線(C2)を車両前後方向に沿わせるように設定されることを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の電動パーキングブレーキ装置。
- 前記アクチュエータケース(40)が、前記バックプレート(13)に取付けられることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の電動パーキングブレーキ装置。
- 前記連繋手段であるブレーキケーブル(37)のうち少なくとも前記バックプレート(13)の外部に配索される部分が、筒状部材(44)で覆われることを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の電動パーキングブレーキ装置。
