Description
本実施例は、マイクロLEDチップの転写不良による収率減少を減らすために、R、G、Bピクセルのそれぞれに2個のLEDチップを連結する。Gチップ及びBチップは低電流密度で光効率が良いので、それぞれGピクセル及びBピクセルで2個ずつ並列に駆動される。一方、Rチップは低電流密度で光効率が良くないので、高電流密度のためにメインRピクセルとリダンダンシーRピクセルで1個ずつ独立駆動(または分離駆動)される。

Claims (19)
- 第1データラインに連結されて高電流密度のために独立駆動される第1色の発光素子を有する第1ピクセルと、
前記第1データラインと隣り合う第2データラインに連結されて高電流密度のために独立駆動される前記第1色の発光素子を有する第2ピクセルとを含み、
前記第1ピクセル及び前記第2ピクセルは第1単位ピクセル内に含まれ、
前記第1ピクセル及び前記第2ピクセルは一定時間を周期として交互にオン駆動され、
前記発光素子はマイクロLEDである、表示装置。 - 前記第1ピクセル及び前記第2ピクセルが共に正常ピクセルの場合、
第1周期の間、前記第1ピクセルがオフ駆動され、前記第2ピクセルがオン駆動され、
前記第1周期に引き続く第2周期の間、前記第1ピクセルがオン駆動され、前記第2ピクセルがオフ駆動される、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1ピクセルが欠陥ピクセルであり、前記第2ピクセルが正常ピクセルである場合、
