Description
本実施形態において製造されるインペラは、例えば、遠心圧縮機等の回転機械に搭載される。図1及び図2に示すように、インペラ1は、ディスク2と、ブレード3と、カバー4とを有している。
次に、図3から図12を用いて、上記インペラ1の製造方法について説明する。インペラの製造方法S1は、金属粉末を用いた積層造形法によって、インペラ1を製造する。本実施形態におけるインペラの製造方法S1では、インペラ1を、例えば、レーザーメタルデポジション(Laser Metal Deposition:以下、LMDと略称する)法により形成する。LMD法は、レーザを母材に照射することで形成した領域(溶融池)に、ノズルを通して金属粉末を供給することで、溶融金属による積層造形を行うものである。なお、インペラ1は、金属粉末を用いた積層造形法であればLMD法以外の他の方法で製造されてもよい。
上記構成のインペラの製造方法S1では、サポート部形成工程S3から外周形状成形工程S11まで実施されることで、形成工程S100と研削工程S200とが繰り返し実施されることになる。その結果、インペラ成形体100を段階的に拡径するように形成しつつ、それぞれの段階でインペラ成形体100の形状を整えることができる。その結果、積層造形法によりインペラ1を高い精度で良好に形成することが可能となる。
以上、本開示の実施の形態について図面を参照して詳述したが、具体的な構成はこの実施の形態に限られるものではなく、本開示の要旨を逸脱しない範囲の設計変更等も含まれる。
実施形態に記載のインペラの製造方法S1は、例えば以下のように把握される。

Claims (5)
- 軸線を中心とした円盤状をなすディスクと、前記ディスクにおいて前記軸線に沿った軸方向の第一側を向く面に対して前記軸線周りの周方向に間隔を空けて形成された複数のブレードと、複数の前記ブレードを前記軸方向の第一側から覆うカバーと、を有し、前記ディスク、前記カバー、及び前記ブレードの間に流路が形成されたインペラの製造方法であって、
金属粉末を用いた積層造形法によって、前記軸線を基準とする径方向の外側に向かって延びるように金属層を積層することで、前記ディスクの一部を構成するディスク構成部、前記ブレードの一部を構成するブレード構成部、及び前記カバーの一部を構成するカバー構成部が一体化されたインペラ成形体を形成する工程と、
前記インペラ成形体を削る工程と、を複数回繰り返し、
前記インペラ成形体を削る工程は、前記流路の一部を構成する前記インペラ成形体の内側面を研磨する工程を含み、
前記インペラ成形体を削る工程は、
前記流路の内側面を研磨する工程の前に、前記径方向の外側から前記ディスク構成部及び前記カバー構成部を削って、前記インペラ成形体の外周部から前記径方向の内側に窪む凹部を形成する工程を含むインペラの製造方法。 - 前記凹部を形成する工程では、前記軸方向から見た際に、前記軸線を中心とする周方向で隣り合う前記ブレード構成部同士の間に前記凹部が形成される請求項1に記載のインペラの製造方法。
- 前記インペラ成形体を形成する工程では、前記凹部を形成する工程の後に、前記軸方向から見た際に、前記インペラ成形体を全周に渡って所定の寸法だけ前記径方向の外側に広げるように金属層を積層する請求項1又は2に記載のインペラの製造方法。
- 前記インペラ成形体を形成する工程の前に、前記軸方向に延びる筒状の基材を準備する工程をさらに含み、
前記インペラ成形体を形成する工程では、前記基材に対して前記径方向の外側に向かって金属層を積層する請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載のインペラの製造方法。 - 前記インペラ成形体を形成する工程は、
前記基材の外周面に、前記径方向の外側に向かって突出するサポート部を形成する工程と、
前記サポート部に対して前記径方向の外側に金属層を積層することで前記カバー構成部の少なくとも一部を形成する工程と、を含み、
前記インペラ成形体を削る工程は、
前記軸方向から前記基材と前記カバー構成部との間に配置された前記サポート部を除去する工程と、を含む請求項4に記載のインペラの製造方法。
