Description
(I)部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアと、
(II)1つ以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルと、を含む。

(II)1つ以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルと、を含む。
ゲル分率=100*WGEL/WTOT。
本発明は以下の態様を含む。
[1]ポリカーボネートとアクリロニトリル/ブタジエン/スチレンコポリマーとのブレンドを改質する方法であって、前記ブレンドに複合粒子を添加することを含み、前記複合粒子が、
(I)部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアと
(II)1つ以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルと、を含む、方法。
[2]前記ビニルモノマーが、1つ以上の(メタ)アクリレートモノマーを含む、[1]に記載の方法。
[3]前記ビニルモノマーが、(メタ)アクリル酸の1つ以上の非置換アルキルエステルを含む、[1]に記載の方法。
[4]前記部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、50%以下のゲル分率を有する、[1]に記載の方法。
[5]前記部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、初期ポリオレフィン粒子に対して架橋反応を行うことを含むプロセスによって作製され、前記初期ポリオレフィン粒子が、1つ以上のポリオレフィンを含み、前記初期ポリオレフィン粒子中の前記ポリオレフィンの各々が、190℃で2.16kgの負荷で10分あたり50g以上のメルトフローレートを有する、[1]に記載の方法。
[6]ポリカーボネートと、アクリロニトリル/ブタジエン/スチレンコポリマーと、複合粒子と、を含む、配合組成物であって、前記複合粒子が、
(I)部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアと
(II)1つ以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルと、を含む、配合組成物。
[7]前記ポリカーボネートが、前記ポリカーボネートおよび前記アクリロニトリル/ブタジエン/スチレンコポリマーの重量の合計に基づいて、40~95重量%の量で存在し、
前記複合粒子が、前記複合粒子、前記ポリカーボネート、および前記アクリロニトリル/ブタジエン/スチレンコポリマーの重量の総合計に基づいて、1~40重量%の量で存在する、[6]に記載の組成物。
[8]前記コアにグラフトされる前記シェルの量が、前記シェルの重量に基づいて、40重量%以上である、[6]に記載の組成物。
炭化水素ポリオレフィン:
E/OCT-1=AFFINITY(商標)GA1950エチレン/オクテンコポリマー(the Dow Chemical Company製)
非炭化水素ポリオレフィン:
PE/MAH-1=LICOCENE(商標)PE MA 4351マレイン化ポリエチレンワックス、5%無水マレイン酸、(Clariant製)
PE/MAH-2=RETAIN(商標)3000無水マレイン酸基でグラフトされたエチレン/オクテンコポリマーのコポリマー(the Dow Chemical Company製)
架橋剤
EPDM=NORDEL(商標)4820エチレン-プロピレン-ジエンコポリマー(the Dow Chemical Company製)
界面活性剤
SLES=EMPICOL(商標)ESB 40界面活性剤、ラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム(Huntsman製)。
シード化エマルション重合プロセスによって複合粒子を調製した。上の表4の部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィン粒子分散液の各々を反応器に入れ、アクリルモノマーの重合のためのシードとして使用した。モノマーを事前混合して、モノマーエマルションを形成し、次いで、65℃で60分かけて反応器に注入した。同時に、レドックス触媒対をフリーラジカル開始剤として、90分かけて別々に反応器に供給した。反応を60℃で90分間維持し、次いで、25℃まで冷却し、190μmフィルターで濾過した。すべての場合で、アクリルモノマーは、メタクリル酸メチル(MMA)とアクリル酸ブチル(BA)との混合物であり、MMA:BAの重量比は、98.0:2.0であった。
Claims (8)
- ポリカーボネートとアクリロニトリル/ブタジエン/スチレンコポリマーとのブレンドを改質する方法であって、前記ブレンドに複合粒子を添加することを含み、前記複合粒子が、
(I)部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアと
(II)1つ以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルと、を含み、
前記部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、10%以上及び100%未満のゲル分率を有し、
前記ゲル分率は、前記部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアの分散液を乾燥させて水を除去し、乾燥残留物を計量し、次いで前記乾燥残留物をトルエンと90℃で1時間混合してから、75μm孔径の多孔質金属カラムフリットを通して高温トルエンを濾過することによって測定され、
前記ゲル分率は、乾燥ゲルの重量を前記分散液の総固形分の重量で割ったものとして決定され、
前記ビニルモノマーは(メタ)アクリルモノマーであり、
前記コアのTgは50℃以下であり、及び前記シェルのTgは50℃より高く、並びに
前記コア及び前記シェルの重量の合計に基づくパーセンテージとして表される前記コアの重量によって特徴付けられる前記コアの量は60%以上及び95%以下である、
方法。 - 前記ビニルモノマーが、1つ以上の(メタ)アクリレートモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ビニルモノマーが、(メタ)アクリル酸の1つ以上の非置換アルキルエステルを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、50%以下のゲル分率を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記部分的に架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、初期ポリオレフィン粒子に対して架橋反応を行うことを含むプロセスによって作製され、前記初期ポリオレフィン粒子が、1つ以上のポリオレフィンを含み、前記初期ポリオレフィン粒子中の前記ポリオレフィンの各々が、190℃で2.16kgの負荷で10分あたり50g以上のメルトフローレートを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記コアにグラフトされる前記シェルの量が、前記シェルの重量に基づいて、40重量%以上である、請求項6に記載の組成物。
