20部のTEPを含有するポリオールブレンドから調製されたPIR発泡体(表4)は、19.47mW/mKの初期ラムダを有する。この発泡体を70℃で21日間老化させた後、得られたデルタラムダは、TCPP(図2に示すように)よりも大きいデルタラムダで6.93mW/mKである。
Saytex RB-79(ジエチレングリコール及びプロピレングリコールを有するテトラブロモフタル酸無水物のヒドロキシ末端エステル)のラムダ老化に対する影響を調査した。RB-79の10phppを有するPIR発泡体の初期ラムダ(表5)は、18.41mW/mK(10℃)であった。発泡体を70℃で21日間老化させた後、ラムダは、23.48mW/mKに変化した。デルタラムダは、僅か5.08mW/mKであり、10phpp TCPPを含有する発泡体よりも良好であり、難燃剤を含まない発泡体、5.16mW/mKよりも良好である。(図1を参照)
EN13165試験を満たすために、TCPP投与量は制限されなければならないことが見出された。この場合、TCPPに加えて、二次難燃剤を採用することが望ましい場合がある。この二次難燃剤は、ラムダ老化に悪影響を及ぼすことなく、必要とされる発泡火災性能を提供することができる。上記の結果、RB79又は同様の臭素化難燃剤に基づいて、RB-9170は、ラムダ老化問題に対処するための本出願の潜在的候補であり得る。
異なる投与量のTCPP(図7)を含有する1336mzz(Z)発泡化発泡体を老化させた場合、1233zd(E)発泡化発泡体(図7)の場合のように、TCPP投与量が増加するにつれてデルタラムダが増加する。しかしながら、1336mzz(Z)発泡化発泡体のデルタラムダは、TCPPの各投与量で1233zd(E)発泡化発泡体のデルタラムダよりも常に小さかった。

Claims (28)
- イソシアネート、
ポリオール若しくはポリオール類の混合物と、1,3,3,3-テトラフルオロプロペン(1234ze)、1,1,1,4,4,4-ヘキサフルオロブト-2-エン(1336mzzm)及び1-クロロ-3,3,3-トリフルオロプロペン(1233zd)からなる群から選択される発泡剤を含むポリオールプレミックス組成物、及び
25phppを超える量で存在するホスフェート系難燃剤
を含む発泡性組成物から得られるポリウレタン発泡体、ポリイソシアヌレート発泡体又はこれらの混合物と比較して、ポリウレタン発泡体、ポリイソシアヌレート発泡体又はこれらの混合物のラムダ老化を低減する方法であって、
イソシアネート、
ポリオール若しくはポリオール類の混合物と、1,3,3,3-テトラフルオロプロペン(1234ze)、1,1,1,4,4,4-ヘキサフルオロブト-2-エン(1336mzzm)及び1-クロロ-3,3,3-トリフルオロプロペン(1233zd)からなる群から選択される発泡剤を含むポリオールプレミックス組成物、及び
25phpp以下の量で存在するホスフェート系難燃剤
を含む発泡性組成物からポリウレタン発泡体、ポリイソシアヌレート発泡体又はこれらの混合物を生成することを含み、ここで、phppはポリオール100重量部当たりの部を示し、
前記ホスフェート系難燃剤が、トリス(1-クロロ-2-プロピル)ホスフェート(TCPP)、及びリン酸トリエチル(TEP)のうちの1つ以上を含む、
前記方法。 - 前記ホスフェート系難燃剤を25phpp以下の量で有する前記発泡体が、70℃で21日間老化させた後に、6mW/mK以下のデルタラムダを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体が、20phpp以下のホスフェート系難燃剤を含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体が、15phpp以下のホスフェート系難燃剤を含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体が、10phpp以下のホスフェート系難燃剤を含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体が、5phpp以下のホスフェート系難燃剤を含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ホスフェート系難燃剤が、トリス(1-クロロ-2-プロピル)ホスフェート(TCPP)を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ホスフェート系難燃剤が、リン酸トリエチル(TEP)を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体が、臭素化反応性難燃剤を更に含む、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記臭素化反応性難燃剤が、Saytex RB-79又はSaytex RB-9170である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡剤が、トランス-1,3,3,3-テトラフルオロプロペン(1234ze(E))、シス-1,1,1,4,4,4-ヘキサフルオロブト-2-エン(1336mzzm(Z))又はトランス-1-クロロ-3,3,3-トリフルオロプロペン(1233zd(E))のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡剤が、トランス-1-クロロ-3,3,3-トリフルオロプロペン(1233zd(E))を含む、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡剤が、共発泡剤をさらに含む、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
