Description
本出願は、2018年2月6日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/626,854号の優先権を主張する。
本発明は、外科手術器具およびより具体的には、ユーザが外科手術装置の顎部に供給できる力の量を制限する外科手術器具用のハンドル組立品に対するものである。
電気手術血管シーラーなどの外科手術器具は、ユーザが外科手術器具のハンドルに結合されたレバーを操作するのに応答して組織の上で閉じられる一対の顎部を有しうる。顎部に送達される力の量を制御し、したがって使用時にユーザが器具を損傷する、または標的組織を損傷するリスクを低減するために、力制限機構をハンドル内に含めて、顎部に伝送されるハンドルの力量を制限してもよい。しかし、これらの力制限機構は複雑であり、製造コストの増大につながる。さらに、多くの力制限機構は、外科手術装置内のかなりの量の空間を占める。したがって、ユーザが、コンパクトかつ製造が簡単な外科手術器具の顎部に適用できる力を制限することができる力制限機構のための技術分野におけるニーズが存在する。
Claims (9)
- 外科手術器具用の力制限組立品であって、
ハンドルと、
前記ハンドルに第一の端の旋回点で枢動可能に取り付けられ、前記ハンドルから外へと延びて反対端にトリガーを画定する、レバーと、
前記レバー内に位置付けられ、前記旋回点から離間した自由端を有する、カンチレバーばねと、
前記カンチレバーばねの前記自由端に対向する第一のストップが固定された駆動シャフトと、を備え、
前記旋回点を中心とした前記レバーの旋回により、前記カンチレバーばねの前記自由端が移動することで、前記自由端が前記第一のストップを押して、前記駆動シャフトが軸方向に移動するように構成されており、
前記レバーの前記第一の端が二つの離間したアームを有し、
前記レバーは、前記レバーの前記第一の端の前記二つの離間したアームと前記カンチレバーばねとの間に延びたピンを有し、前記ピンは、前記カンチレバーばねを、前記カンチレバーばねが部分的に付勢される位置にある予め負荷を与えられた状態に保持する、
力制限組立品。 - 前記レバーの前記第一の端の二つの離間したアームが、前記駆動シャフトの両側に延びる、請求項1に記載の力制限組立品。
- 前記カンチレバーばねが二つの離間したプレートを有する、請求項2に記載の力制限組立品。
- 前記二つの離間したプレートが前記駆動シャフトのいずれかの側に延びる、請求項3に記載の力制限組立品。
- 前記旋回点を中心とした前記レバーの旋回により、前記カンチレバーばねが前記予め負荷を与えられた状態よりもさらに付勢される屈曲状態へと前記カンチレバーばねが移動する、請求項1に記載の力制限組立品。
- ハンドルおよび前記ハンドルに枢動可能に取り付けられたレバーを有する外科手術器具を製造する方法であって、
カンチレバーばねが、前記ハンドルに対して前記レバーの第一の端の旋回点から離間した自由端を有するように、前記カンチレバーばねを前記レバーに関連付けるステップと、
前記カンチレバーばねの自由端を前記外科手術器具の駆動シャフトに固定された第一のストップに対向させるステップであって、前記旋回点を中心とした前記レバーの旋回により、前記カンチレバーばねの自由端が移動することで、前記自由端が前記第一のストップを押して、前記駆動シャフトを軸方向に移動させるように、前記カンチレバーばねの自由端を前記駆動シャフトに対向させるステップと、を含み、
前記レバーの前記第一の端が二つの離間したアームを有するものであり、
前記レバーは、前記レバーの前記第一の端の前記二つの離間したアームと前記カンチレバーばねとの間に延びたピンを有し、前記ピンは、前記カンチレバーばねを、前記カンチレバーばねが部分的に付勢される位置にある予め負荷を与えられた状態に保持するものである、
外科手術器具の製造方法。 - 前記カンチレバーばねが、前記ハンドルに対する前記レバーの移動の前に部分的に付勢される、請求項6に記載の外科手術器具の製造方法。
- 前記カンチレバーばねが、前記レバーの移動が前記駆動シャフトの所定の所望の移動量を超える時にさらに付勢される、請求項7に記載の外科手術器具の製造方法。
- 前記カンチレバーばねが、前記駆動シャフトに固定された二つのストップの間に位置付けられる、請求項8に記載の外科手術器具の製造方法。
