Description
また、本発明の目的は、光学部材と表示パネル基板とを一体化して優れた色再現性と高い輝度を示し、薄型を具現した液晶表示装置を提供することにある。
前記色変換部材は、前記第1ベース面及び前記第2ベース面の中の少なくとも1つの面に隣接して配置された少なくとも1つのバリア層を更に含み得る。
前記少なくとも1つのバリア層は、少なくとも1つの無機膜を含み得る。
前記色変換部材は、ベース樹脂と、前記ベース樹脂に分散された光散乱粒子と、を更に含み得る。
前記第1低屈折層は、前記第1ベース基板上に直接配置され得る。
前記第1低屈折層の屈折率は、1.2以上1.4以下であり得る。
前記第1低屈折層は、ボイド(Void)を含み得る。
前記第1基板は、前記色変換部材上に配置された集光部材を更に含み得る。
前記集光部材は、前記液晶層方向に光を集光させる複数の集光パターン部を含む第1集光パターン層と、前記第1集光パターン層上に配置されて前記複数の集光パターン部の間を充填する第2低屈折層と、を含み得る。
前記複数の集光パターン部の各々の前記第1ベース基板に垂直な断面は、2つの側辺の長さが同一の三角形状であり得る。
前記集光部材は、前記第2低屈折層上に配置されて複数の交差パターン部を含む第2集光パターン層、及び前記第2集光パターン層上に配置された第3低屈折層を更に含み、前記複数の集光パターン部の各々は、第1方向に延長されたプリズム形状であり、前記交差パターン部の各々は、前記第1方向に対して直角に交差する第2方向に延長されたプリズム形状であり得る。
前記複数の集光パターン部の各々は、前記液晶層方向に膨らむレンズ形状であり得る。
前記複数の集光パターン部の各々の前記第1ベース基板に平行な断面は、円、楕円、又は多角形状であり、前記複数の集光パターン部の各々の前記第1ベース基板に垂直な断面は、半円又は半楕円形状であり得る。
前記第2屈折層の屈折率は、前記第1集光パターン層の屈折率よりも小さくあり得る。
前記集光部材は、前記色変換部材上に直接配置され得る。
前記第1ベース基板は、前記第1ベース基板の下部面に配置された導光パターン部を更に含み得る。
前記第1基板は、シングルガラス基板又はシングル高分子基板を含み、前記第1ベース基板は、前記シングルガラス基板又は前記シングル高分子基板であり得る。
前記第2基板は、第2ベース基板と、前記液晶層の上部面に配置された第2偏光層と、前記液晶層に隣接する前記第2ベース基板の下部面に配置された回路層と、前記液晶層と前記回路層との間に配置され、それぞれ異なる波長領域の光を透過させる複数のフィルター部を含むカラーフィルター層と、を含み得る。
前記第2基板は、前記フィルター部の中の互いに隣接するフィルター部の境界に重畳して配置された遮光部を更に含み得る。
前記第1基板は、前記フィルター部の中の互いに隣接するフィルター部の境界に重畳して前記第1偏光層上に配置された遮光部を含み得る。
前記第2偏光層は、前記液晶層と前記カラーフィルター層との間、又は前記カラーフィルター層と前記第2ベース基板との間に配置され得る。
前記第1基板及び前記第2基板の各々は、曲がった基板であり得る。
前記液晶層は、垂直配向液晶分子を含み得る。
前記発光素子パッケージは、発光素子及び前記発光素子をカバーするシーリング部を含み、前記シーリング部は、少なくとも1つの蛍光体を含み得る。
前記発光素子は、青色光を放出し、前記量子ドットは、前記青色光によって励起されて緑色光を放出する第1量子ドット及び前記青色光によって励起されて赤色光を放出する第2量子ドットを含み得る。
前記発光素子は、青色光を放出し、前記シーリング部は、前記青色光によって励起されて赤色光を放出する第1蛍光体を含み、前記量子ドットは、前記青色光によって励起されて緑色光を放出する第1量子ドットを含み得る。
前記発光素子は、青色光を放出し、前記シーリング部は、前記青色光によって励起されて緑色光を放出する第2蛍光体を含み、前記量子ドットは、前記青色光によって励起されて赤色光を放出する第2量子ドットを含み得る。

- 互いに対向する第1基板及び第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に配置された液晶層と、を備え、
前記第1基板は、
第1ベース基板と、
前記第1ベース基板と前記液晶層との間に配置された第1偏光層と、
前記第1ベース基板と前記第1偏光層との間に配置されて前記第1ベース基板よりも小さい屈折率を有する第1低屈折層と、
前記第1低屈折層と前記第1偏光層との間に配置されて量子ドットを含む色変換部材と、
前記色変換部材上に配置された集光部材と、を含み、
前記集光部材は、
前記液晶層方向に光を集光させる複数の集光パターン部を含む第1集光パターン層と、
前記第1集光パターン層上に配置されて前記複数の集光パターン部の間を充填する第2低屈折層と、
前記第2低屈折層上に配置されて前記第1集光パターン層上の集光パターン部の延長方向と直角に交差する方向に延長する複数の交差パターン部を含む第2集光パターン層、及び前記第2集光パターン層上に配置された第3低屈折層と、を含むことを特徴とする液晶表示パネル。 - 前記色変換部材は、
前記第1低屈折層の上部面に接触する第1ベース面と、
前記第1ベース面に対向して前記第1偏光層に隣接する第2ベース面と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。 - 前記色変換部材は、前記第1ベース面及び前記第2ベース面の中の少なくとも1つの面に隣接して配置された少なくとも1つのバリア層を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示パネル。
- 前記第1低屈折層は、前記第1ベース基板上に直接配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。
- 前記第1低屈折層の屈折率は、1.2以上1.4以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。
- 前記第1低屈折層は、ボイド(Void)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。
- 前記複数の集光パターン部の各々は、第1方向に延長されたプリズム形状であり、
前記複数の交差パターン部の各々は、前記第1方向に対して直角に交差する第2方向に延長されたプリズム形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。 - 前記第2低屈折層の屈折率は、前記第1集光パターン層の屈折率よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。
- 前記集光部材は、前記色変換部材上に直接配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。
- 前記第1基板は、シングルガラス基板又はシングル高分子基板を含み、
前記第1ベース基板は、前記シングルガラス基板又は前記シングル高分子基板であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。 - 前記第2基板は、
第2ベース基板と、
前記液晶層の上部面に配置された第2偏光層と、
前記第2ベース基板の下部面に配置された回路層と、
前記液晶層と前記回路層との間に配置され、それぞれ異なる波長領域の光を透過させる複数のフィルター部を含むカラーフィルター層と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル。 - 請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに光を提供する光源部材と、を備え、
前記光源部材は、出光面が前記第1ベース基板の側面に対向する発光素子パッケージを含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
