Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係る電池モジュールの斜視図である。図2は、電池およびセパレータの分解斜視図である。図3は、互いに組み付けられた状態にある電池およびセパレータの断面図である。図4は、電池に組み付けられた状態にあるセパレータの正面図である。なお、図1では、電池2の図示を簡略化している。また、図2および図3では、任意の2つの電池2と、この2つの電池2の間に配置されるセパレータ4を図示している。また、図3では、電池2の内部構造のうち電極体12のみを模式的に図示している。
実施の形態2は、熱伝導抑制部および位置規制部の寸法関係が異なる点を除き、実施の形態1と共通の構成を有する。以下、本実施の形態について実施の形態1と異なる構成を中心に説明し、共通する構成については簡単に説明するか、あるいは説明を省略する。図7は、実施の形態2に係る電池モジュールが備える熱伝導抑制部および位置規制部の寸法関係を説明するための模式図である。
Claims (4)
- 積層された複数の電池と、
隣接する2つの前記電池の間に配置されて、当該2つの電池間を絶縁するセパレータと、を備え、
前記セパレータは、熱伝導抑制部および位置規制部を有し、
前記熱伝導抑制部は、前記位置規制部よりも熱伝導性が低く、隣接する2つの前記電池間の熱伝導を抑制し、
前記位置規制部は、前記熱伝導抑制部よりも剛性が高く、電池の積層方向の寸法が前記熱伝導抑制部の前記積層方向の寸法以上であり、隣接する2つの前記電池に当接して前記積層方向における前記電池の位置を規制し、
前記電池は、外装缶と、前記外装缶に収容される電極体と、前記外装缶の第1表面に設けられる出力端子と、を有し、
前記位置規制部は、前記第1表面と前記第1表面に背向する第2表面とが並ぶ第1方向において、前記出力端子とは反対側に偏るように配置され、
前記位置規制部は、前記第1表面側に配置される第1部分と、前記第2表面側に配置される第2部分と、を有し、前記第1部分および前記第2部分は、前記第1方向と交わる第2方向に延びる長尺状であり、
前記電極体は、前記第2方向に長い矩形状であり、
前記電池の積層方向から見て、前記第1部分は前記電極体の前記第1表面側の長辺と重なり、前記第2部分は前記電極体の前記第2表面側の長辺と重なることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記熱伝導抑制部は、前記第1部分と前記第2部分との間に配置される請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記熱伝導抑制部は、前記第1方向の寸法が前記第1部分と前記第2部分との間隔よりも小さい請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記セパレータは、前記電池の積層方向にセパレータを貫通する貫通孔を有し、
前記位置規制部は、前記貫通孔の周囲を囲うように配置され、
前記熱伝導抑制部は、前記積層方向から見て前記貫通孔内に配置される請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
