Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係る電池モジュールの斜視図である。図2は、電池モジュールの分解斜視図である。電池モジュール1は、電池積層体2と、一対のエンドプレート4と、冷却プレート6と、熱伝導層8と、サイドセパレータ10と、拘束部材12と、を備える。
実施の形態2に係る電池モジュールは、サイドセパレータの形状を除き、実施の形態1と共通の構成を有する。以下、本実施の形態に係る電池モジュールについて実施の形態1と異なる構成を中心に説明し、共通する構成については簡単に説明するか、あるいは説明を省略する。図5は、実施の形態2に係る電池モジュールの底部を拡大して示す斜視図である。なお、図5では、エンドプレート4の図示を省略している。
Claims (5)
- 積層された複数の電池を有する電池積層体と、
前記電池積層体に熱的に接続される冷却プレートと、
前記複数の電池を電池の積層方向に拘束するとともに前記電池積層体および前記冷却プレートをこれらの配列方向に挟み込む拘束部材と、
前記積層方向における前記電池積層体の両端に配置される一対のエンドプレートと、
サイドセパレータと、を備え、
前記拘束部材は、前記電池積層体に沿って前記積層方向に延びる平面部と、前記平面部の端部から前記電池積層体側に突出するとともに前記配列方向で対向する一対の腕部と、を有し、
前記拘束部材は、前記平面部の前記積層方向における両端部が前記一対のエンドプレートと係合して前記複数の電池を拘束し、前記一対の腕部で前記電池積層体および前記冷却プレートを挟み込み、
前記サイドセパレータは、
前記電池積層体に沿って前記積層方向に延びるとともに前記電池積層体と前記拘束部材の前記平面部との間に介在する第1部分と、
前記第1部分から前記電池積層体側に突出するとともに前記冷却プレートと前記拘束部材の一方の前記腕部との間に介在する第2部分と、
前記第1部分から前記電池積層体側に突出するとともに前記電池積層体と前記拘束部材の他方の前記腕部との間に介在する第3部分と、を有することを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記第2部分は、前記積層方向に延び、
前記サイドセパレータは、前記第2部分の前記積層方向における端部から前記電池積層体側に突出する凸部を有する請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電池積層体と前記冷却プレートとの間に介在する、絶縁性の熱伝導層をさらに備える請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記熱伝導層は、前記電池積層体および前記冷却プレートに押圧されて、弾性変形または塑性変形する請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池積層体と前記冷却プレートとは、ねじで非締結である請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
