Claims (7)
- 燃料噴射弁(10)の動作を制御する制御装置(20)であって、
前記燃料噴射弁は、
燃料を噴射するための噴孔(511)が形成されたハウジング(100)と、前記ハウジングの内部において移動することにより前記噴孔の開閉を切り換えるニードル(200)と、前記ニードルを動作させるための電磁力を固定コア(400)及び可動コア(300)に発生させるコイル(600)と、前記ニードルが前記噴孔を閉じる方向に前記可動コアを付勢する付勢部材(820)と、を有するものであり、
前記コイルに供給される駆動電流を調整する電流調整部(21)と、
前記ニードルの動作を検知する動作検知部(23)と、を備え、
前記電流調整部は、開弁時において、前記コイルに対する前記駆動電流の供給を、予め設定された停止期間だけ一時的に停止させる制御を行うように構成されており、
開弁時において前記ニードルが前記付勢部材による付勢により閉弁方向に動作してしまうことの無いよう、前記停止期間の長さを調整する時間調整部(22)を更に備える制御装置。 - 開弁時において前記ニードルが前記付勢部材による付勢により閉弁方向に動作したことが、前記動作検知部によって検知された場合には、
前記時間調整部は、前記停止期間の長さをそれまでよりも短くする、請求項1に記載の制御装置。 - 前記時間調整部は、前記燃料噴射弁による燃料の噴射が行われるごとに、前記停止期間を一定時間ずつ長くして行き、
開弁時において前記ニードルが前記付勢部材による付勢により閉弁方向に動作したことが、前記動作検知部によって検知された場合には、
前記時間調整部は、前記停止期間を前記一定時間だけ短くする、請求項1に記載の制御装置。 - 前記動作検知部は、前記コイルを流れる前記駆動電流に基づいて前記ニードルの動作を検知する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記動作検知部は、前記駆動電流の時間変化において変曲点が生じたか否かに基づいて、前記ニードルが閉弁方向に動作したことを検知する、請求項4に記載の制御装置。
- 前記時間調整部による前記停止期間の長さの調整は、所定の実行条件が成立した際に行われる、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記実行条件とは、車両において内燃機関が始動された後に、当該内燃機関の回転数が一定となったことである、請求項6に記載の制御装置。
