前記第1の光学素子および前記第2の光学素子の各々は、光が、前記第2の光学素子を介して前記光学システムを出る前に、前記中空のキャビティを少なくとも3回通過するように、光を反射する、光学システム。 - 前記第1の光学素子は、1/4波長リターダおよび部分反射器を含み、
前記第2の光学素子は、1/4波長リターダおよび反射偏光子を含む、請求項1記載の光学システム。 - 前記第1の光学素子は、偏光子をも含む、請求項2記載の光学システム。
- 前記第1の光学素子および前記第2の光学素子の少なくとも1つに取り付けられる支持基板をさらに含む、請求項1記載の光学システム。
- 前記支持基板は、等方性基板である、請求項4記載の光学システム。
- 前記支持基板は、樹脂である、請求項4記載の光学システム。
- 前記中空のキャビティは、等方性光学流体で少なくとも部分的に充填される、請求項1記載の光学システム。
- 前記第2の光学素子に隣接する出口偏光子をさらに含む、請求項1記載の光学システム。

前記第1の光学素子および前記第2の光学素子の各々は、非平面状であり、かつ凸状であり、

前記第1の光学素子および前記第2の光学素子の各々は、非平面状であり、かつ凸状であり、
前記第1の光学素子と前記第2の光学素子は、それらの周縁に沿って結合され、
