Description
すなわち、本開示の一態様に係る融着装置は、第1方向に沿って配置された部材間に配置され通電により発熱する導電要素に電気を供給する電極と、前記部材のうちの一方とれた一の部材の前記第1方向と直交する第2方向における側方領域であって前記一の部材と前記電極との間の領域に配置され、弾性をもって前記一の部材に密着しつつ前記導電要素を前記第1方向に押圧する押圧要素と、を備えている。
以下、本開示の第1実施形態に係る融着装置及び融着方法について図面を参照して説明する。
導電要素23は、通電によって発熱するシート状の抵抗体であり、銅メッシュやCFRTPプリプレグ等が例示される。
融着装置10Aは、電極11、押圧要素12、第1加圧板14及び第2加圧板15を備えている。
第1加圧板14は融着装置10Aにおいて下部に位置して、第2加圧板15は融着装置10Aにおいて上部に位置している。
第1加圧板14及び第2加圧板15は、例えば鋼材やセラミッスク製とされている。
また、ここでいう耐熱性とは、少なくとも導電要素23の発熱温度に耐え得る性質のことである。すなわち、熱可塑性樹脂の融点以上の温度環境に耐え得る性質でもある。
すなわち、図1に示すように、融着前には、第1加圧板14の上面に第1部材21、導電要素23及び第2部材22が載置された状態となる。
このとき、電極11及び押圧要素12が、第2部材22の側方、かつ、導電要素23の上方の領域に配置されている。
ここで、図3に示す実線が変形前(無負荷状態/融着前)の押圧要素12の形状であり、二点鎖線が変形後(負荷状態/融着時)の押圧要素12の形状である。
電極11と、第2部材22の側方領域に配置され弾性をもって第2部材22に密着しつつ導電要素23を押圧する押圧要素12と、を備えているので、導電要素23の発熱を用いた融着において、第2部材22の側方領域に隙間を生じさせることなく導電要素23を押圧することができる。これにより、当該隙間に起因した不具合の発生を抑制することができる。
また、押圧要素12に内圧を加えることで押圧要素12を弾性変形させてもよい。
以下、本開示の第2実施形態に係る融着装置について図面を参照して説明する。
なお、本実施形態の融着装置10Bは、第1実施形態の融着装置10Aに対して電極11及び押圧要素12の形態が異なりそれ以外の構成については同様である。このため、第1実施形態の融着装置10Aと同一の構成については同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
導電性押圧要素13の材料としては、導電性高分子が例示される。
すなわち、本開示の一態様に係る融着装置(10A,10B)は、部材(21,22)間に配置され通電により発熱する導電要素(23)に電気を供給する電極(11)と、前記部材のうちの一方とされた一の部材(22)の側方領域に配置され弾性をもって前記一の部材に密着しつつ前記導電要素を押圧する押圧要素(12,13)と、を備えている。

Claims (5)
- 第1方向に沿って配置された部材間に配置され通電により発熱する導電要素に電気を供給する電極と、
前記部材のうちの一方とされた一の部材の前記第1方向と直交する第2方向における側方領域であって前記一の部材と前記電極との間の領域に配置され、弾性をもって前記一の部材に密着しつつ前記導電要素を前記第1方向に押圧する押圧要素と、
を備えている融着装置。 - 前記押圧要素は、前記電極と別体とされている請求項1に記載の融着装置。
- 前記押圧要素は、前記電極を兼ねている請求項1に記載の融着装置。
- 前記押圧要素は、前記第1方向に沿って前記導電要素に押し付けられることで前記第2方向に伸長することによって前記一の部材に密着する請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の融着装置。
- 第1方向に沿って配置された部材間に配置され通電により発熱する導電要素に電気を供給する電極と、
前記部材のうちの一方とされた一の部材の前記第1方向と直交する第2方向における側方領域であって前記一の部材と前記電極との間の領域に配置され、弾性をもって前記一の部材に密着しつつ前記導電要素を前記第1方向に押圧する押圧要素と、
を備えている融着装置を用いた融着方法であって、
前記押圧要素を前記第1方向に沿って前記導電要素に押し付ける工程を含む融着方法。
