Description
正極、分離膜および負極が順次に積層された構造を含み、かつ上記分離膜は線状の切り取り線が形成された構造であり、上記切り取り線と隣接して分離膜の一面または両面に付着された短絡誘導部材を含む。
上記切り取り線に隣接した位置に磁性物質を含む短絡誘導部材を付着するステップと、
上記短絡誘導部材に磁場を印加するステップと、
上記短絡誘導部材を移動して、分離膜の切り取り線が形成された部位を破断するステップ。

Claims (9)
- 正極、分離膜および負極が順次に積層された構造を含む内部短絡試験用の電気化学素子であって、
前記分離膜は、線状の切り取り線が形成された構造であり、
前記切り取り線と隣接して前記分離膜の一面または両面に付着された短絡誘導部材を含み、
磁性物質を含む前記短絡誘導部材を、前記電気化学素子の外部から印加された磁場により移動することで、前記分離膜を前記切り取り線で破断させ、内部短絡を生じさせるように構成された電気化学素子。 - 前記切り取り線は、前記分離膜上で直線、曲線、または直線と曲線の組み合わせからなる形状の線に沿って形成される、請求項1に記載の電気化学素子。
- 前記切り取り線は、複数個の貫通型スリットまたは非貫通型溝からなる、請求項1又は2に記載の電気化学素子。
- 前記短絡誘導部材は、Fe、NiおよびCoからなる群から選ばれた1種または2種以上の磁性物質を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学素子。
- 前記磁性物質の外周面が絶縁性物質で囲まれている、請求項4に記載の電気化学素子。
- 前記絶縁性物質は、多孔性高分子膜である、請求項5に記載の電気化学素子。
- 前記短絡誘導部材は、バインダーによって前記分離膜上に付着されている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学素子。
- 前記バインダーは、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリビニルアルコール、カルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC)、澱粉、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、再生セルロース、ポリビニルピロリドン、テトラフルオロエチレン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エチレン-プロピレン-ジエンテルポリマー(EPDM)、スルホン化EPDM、スチレンブチレンゴム又はこれらの共重合体からなる群から選択された一つまたは複数の物質を含む、請求項7に記載の電気化学素子。
- 切り取り線が形成された分離膜を準備するステップと、
前記切り取り線に隣接した位置に磁性物質を含む短絡誘導部材を付着するステップと、
正極、前記分離膜および負極が順次に積層された構造を含む内部短絡試験用の電気化学素子を構成するステップと、
前記短絡誘導部材に磁場を印加するステップと、
前記磁場によって前記短絡誘導部材を移動して、内部短絡が生じるように前記分離膜の前記切り取り線の部位を破断するステップと、
を含む、電池の内部短絡に係る安全性評価方法。
