Description
Ctop=εtop×S/dtop
コンデンサの直列接続であり電荷量Qは共通であるので、液晶層18にかかる電圧をVLC、絶縁層17にかかる電圧をVtopとおくと、以下のように表せる。
Q=Ctop×Vtop
例えば、セル厚6μmの液晶素子において、液晶層18のdLC:5μm、εLC:8.0であり、絶縁層17のdtop:1μm、εtop:3.44であるとすると、各容量成分は以下のようになる。
Ctop=3.44×S/1=3.44×S
これより、
VLC:Vtop=1/CLC:1/Ctop=1/1.6:1/3.44
となり、
VLC:Vtop=1.96:1
となる。

Claims (3)
- 光源と、
前記光源から出射される光の光路上に配置され、液晶層、および、該液晶層を挟む一対の挟持基板、を含む液晶素子と、
前記液晶素子を透過した光の光路上に配置される投影光学系と、
を備え、
前記液晶素子における一対の挟持基板の一方は、
第1の透明基板と、
前記第1の透明基板上に配置されるコモン電極と、
を含み、
前記液晶素子における一対の挟持基板の他方は、
第2の透明基板と、
前記第2の透明基板上に配置される複数の配線電極と、
前記第2の透明基板上に、前記複数の配線電極を覆うように配置される絶縁層と、
前記絶縁層上に配置される複数のセグメント電極と、
前記絶縁層を貫通して、前記複数の配線電極各々と前記複数のセグメント電極各々とを電気的に同電位に接続する複数の接続電極と、
を含み、
前記複数のセグメント電極は、マトリクス状に配置されており、
前記複数の配線電極は、平面視において、前記複数のセグメント電極各々の間隙に画定される全領域の80%以上と重なるように配置される、
車両用灯具。
- 前記複数のセグメント電極は、平面視において、第1方向に沿って配列する第1群のセグメント電極を含み、
前記第1群のセグメント電極各々の、前記第1の方向に沿う幅は、一端から中央に向かって徐々に狭くなり、また、中央から他端に向かって徐々に広くなる、請求項1記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記複数のセグメント電極は、平面視において、前記第1方向と直交する第2の方向に沿って配列する第2群のセグメント電極を含み、
前記第2群のセグメント電極各々の、前記第2の方向に沿う幅は、一端から中央に向かって徐々に狭くなり、また、中央から他端に向かって徐々に広くなる、請求項2記載の車両用灯具。
