Description
事例1:低コレステロール卵
導入
卵は、全栄養所要量によって提案されている栄養原則のほとんどを提供するため、主要なヒト食料品である。
30羽の18週齢のハイラインブラウン(Hy-Line Brown)産卵鶏を、自然の明暗サイクルの下で放し飼いにした。雌鶏を2つの群に分け、屋外(3m2/羽)にアクセスできる、給餌器と給水器が装備されたさまざまな屋内の囲い(0.15m2/羽)に収容した。
10%C12強化食餌は、卵質量を有意に増加させながら、卵のコレステロール含有量を劇的に減少させることができた。卵の他の特徴は、卵黄の色が薄いこと、及び時折二黄卵になることを除いては、C12取り込みによって影響を受けなかった。
水耕栽培の大麦及びオート麦若葉を、21.5~23.5℃、湿度65±5%及び水温20°~22℃の飼料発芽室で栽培した。
Claims (4)
- コレステロール含有量が減少した卵又は乳を製造する方法であって、卵又は乳を産生する動物にジカルボン酸を強化した食餌を与えるステップを含み、該動物が鳥であり、かつ該ジカルボン酸がドデカン二酸(C12)である、上記方法。
- 食餌が、前記動物の飼料に少なくとも5%、又は少なくとも10%添加したジカルボン酸で強化される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- コレステロール含有量が減少した卵又は乳又は肉又は肉派生物を得るための、卵及び/又は乳を産生する動物の食餌におけるドデカン二酸(C12)の使用であって、該動物が鳥である、上記使用。
- 1mg/gを超えるジカルボン酸の濃度及び低コレステロール含有量を有する食品用動物由来材料を製造する方法であって、
動物にジカルボン酸を強化した食餌を与えるステップを含み、
該動物が鳥であり、かつ該ジカルボン酸がドデカン二酸(C12)であり、該ジカルボン酸が0.5g/日~50g/日の量で経口又は注射によって該動物に投与される、
上記方法。
