・従来のメタリックデザインよりも軽量化(例:最大30%)
・重量(ひいては動力)の節約による車両の範囲の増加
・バッテリ格納領域からの流体の侵入/流出を禁止/抑制する
・火炎の侵入、バッテリの外部燃焼による損傷の禁止/抑制
・バッテリモジュールの内部漏洩時の火災・化学物質の放出の禁止/抑制
・前面衝撃、背面衝撃、側面衝撃時のバッテリ損傷の禁止/抑制
・筐体のベースプレートに加わるジャッキ荷重によるバッテリの損傷の禁止/抑制
・垂直方向の衝突荷重によるバッテリの損傷の禁止/抑制
・内圧上昇中も筐体は環境的に密閉されたままである
・筐体は電磁周波数を遮蔽し、放射される周波数強度をCISPRによって概説される許容限界に制限する
・非導電性および非熱伝導性の表面
・成形された冷却チャネルをバッテリトレイに統合し、別システムを取り付ける必要がなくなる。
さらに、本開示のバッテリ筐体のシステムおよび構造は、輸送用のハイブリッド、プラグインハイブリッドおよびプラグイン電気乗用車、並びに他の大量輸送システム(例えば、バス、シャトルおよび鉄道車両)のために適用可能である。
Claims (20)
- 車両シャーシ用のバッテリ筐体であって、
上面および下面と複数の縁部とを有するベースプレートと、
上面および下面を有し、その下面から延在するフランジ部を有する外側支持構造であって、前記外側支持構造は、前記ベースプレートの上面に配置され、前記ベースプレートの複数の前記縁部の周囲に延在する、外側支持構造と、
上面および下面と、上面から延在するフランジ部と、複数の縁部とを有するバッテリトレイであって、前記ベースプレートの上面に配置され、前記上面上に個々のセル画定する複数の隆起表面機構を有し、各セルが、少なくとも1つのバッテリを受け入れるように構成される、バッテリトレイと、
上面および下面を有し、前記バッテリトレイの前記フランジ部上に配置される、蓋と、を備え、
前記外側支持構造は、前記バッテリトレイの前記フランジ部の下方に配置され、複数の前記バッテリトレイ縁部の周囲に延在する、バッテリ筐体。 - 前記バッテリトレイの前記隆起表面機構は、単一梁を含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記ベースプレート、前記外側支持構造、前記バッテリトレイ、および/または前記蓋のうちの少なくとも1つが、複合材料から構成される、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記蓋の前記上面は、車両シャーシに結合されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記外側支持構造の前記フランジ部は、前記外側支持構造の垂直な側壁から横方向外側に延在する、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記外側支持構造は、隣接する直線梁間に、少なくとも1つのコーナー接合ノードを含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記コーナー接合ノードは、弓形面を有する、請求項6に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記個々のセルは、複数の対称セルを含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記蓋と前記バッテリトレイとの間にシールが形成される、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記バッテリトレイと前記外側支持構造との間にシールが形成される、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記外側支持構造と前記ベースプレートとの間にシールが形成される、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記外側支持構造の前記フランジ部は、第1の距離だけ外側に延在し、前記バッテリトレイの前記フランジ部は、第2の距離だけ外側に延在する、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記第1の距離は前記第2の距離よりも大きい、請求項12に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記蓋は、前記バッテリトレイの前記隆起表面機構と係合して、少なくとも1つの閉鎖空間セルを形成する、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記外側支持構造は、耐荷重構造を形成する、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記耐荷重構造の前記上面は、前記バッテリトレイの前記フランジ部の前記下面と係合する、請求項16に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記蓋、前記バッテリトレイ、前記外側支持構造、および前記ベースプレートのそれぞれは、六角形の形状として形成される、請求項1に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前縁部と後縁部とが平行である、請求項17に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前縁の長さが、前記後縁の長さよりも短い、請求項17に記載のバッテリ筐体。
- 前記外側支持構造の前記フランジ部は、前記バッテリ筐体の5つの側面からのみ延在する、請求項17に記載のバッテリ筐体。
