前記第2のセンサの近位にある前記細長い部材の一部分に沿って配設された第3のセンサであって、前記第3のクラッチの係合を検出するように構成されている、第3のセンサと、を更に備える、実施態様14に記載の外科用器具。
(17) 前記細長い部材が、前記第1及び第2のセンサに連結されたワイヤを内部に配設させるように構成された内側管腔を含む、実施態様14に記載の外科用器具。
(18) 前記エンドエフェクタの前記第1の運動を検出するように構成された第3のセンサと、前記エンドエフェクタの前記第2の運動を検出するように構成された第4のセンサと、を更に備える、実施態様14に記載の外科用器具。
(19) 前記第3のセンサに隣接する前記エンドエフェクタの一部分に連結された第1の永久磁石と、
前記第4のセンサに隣接する前記エンドエフェクタの一部分に連結された第2の永久磁石と、を更に備え、前記第3のセンサ及び前記第4のセンサが、各々、それらに隣接して位置付けられた前記永久磁石の位置を検出するように構成されたホール効果センサである、実施態様18に記載の外科用器具。
(20) 前記外側シャフトの近位端に連結された近位アクチュエータ部分を更に備える、実施態様14の外科用器具。
(22) 前記近位アクチュエータ部分が、前記モータと前記駆動シャフトとの間に動作可能に配設された遊星ギアボックスを含む、実施態様21に記載の外科用器具。
(23) 外科的方法であって、
エンドエフェクタに連結されている外側シャフトの内側管腔内で駆動シャフトを回転させることと、
前記駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達し、かつ前記エンドエフェクタの第1の運動を引き起こすように、第1のクラッチを係合することと、
第1のセンサを使用して前記第1のクラッチの係合を検出することと、
前記駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達し、かつ前記エンドエフェクタの第2の運動を引き起こすように、第2のクラッチを係合することと、
第2のセンサを使用して前記第2のクラッチの係合を検出することと、を含む、外科的方法。
(24) 第3のセンサを使用して前記エンドエフェクタの前記第1の運動を検出することを更に含む、実施態様23に記載の外科的方法。
(25) 第4のセンサを使用して前記エンドエフェクタの前記第2の運動を検出することを更に含む、実施態様23に記載の外科的方法。
(27) 前記駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達し、かつ前記エンドエフェクタの第3の運動を引き起こすように、第3のクラッチを係合することと、
第3のセンサを使用して前記第3のクラッチの係合を検出することと、を更に含む、実施態様23に記載の外科的方法。
(28) 第4のセンサを使用して前記エンドエフェクタの前記第3の運動を検出することを更に含む、実施態様27に記載の外科的方法。
(29) 前記第3の運動が、前記エンドエフェクタの関節運動である、実施態様27に記載の外科的方法。
(30) 前記第1の運動が、エンドエフェクタ機能の作動である、実施態様23に記載の外科的方法。
(32) 前記駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達し、かつ前記エンドエフェクタの関節運動を引き起こすように、第3のクラッチを係合することと、
第3のセンサを使用して前記第3のクラッチの係合を検出することと、を更に含む、実施態様31に記載の外科的方法。
(33) 前記第1のセンサ及び前記第2のセンサが、ホール効果センサである、実施態様23に記載の外科的方法。
Claims (22)
- 外科用器具であって、
外側シャフトと、
前記外側シャフトに連結されたエンドエフェクタと、
前記外側シャフトの内側管腔内に同軸状に配設された回転可能な駆動シャフトと、
前記駆動シャフトの内側管腔内に同軸状に配設された回転しない細長い部材と、
前記回転可能な駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達するように構成された複数の選択的に係合可能なクラッチと、
前記回転しない細長い部材に沿って配設された複数のセンサと、を備え、
前記複数の選択的に係合可能なクラッチのうちの各クラッチが、前記駆動シャフトの回転を、前記外側シャフトに対する前記エンドエフェクタの複数の運動のうちの1つに変換するように構成されており、
前記複数のセンサのうちの各センサが、係合された状態にあるクラッチのうちの1つ又は前記エンドエフェクタの運動のうちの1つを検出するように構成されている、外科用器具。 - 各センサが、ホール効果センサである、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 複数の永久磁石を更に備え、各永久磁石が、前記ホール効果センサのうちの1つに隣接する前記エンドエフェクタの一部分に連結されており、その結果、前記センサが、それに対する前記永久磁石の位置を検出することができる、請求項2に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記回転しない細長い部材が、それを通って延在して前記複数のセンサから延在するワイヤを収容する内側管腔を含む、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記回転しない細長い部材が、その近位端に、相補的な電気プラグとインターフェースするように構成されている電気プラグを含む、請求項4に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記複数の選択的に係合可能なクラッチの各々が、電気的に作動される、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記複数の選択的に係合可能なクラッチの各々が、電磁石を含む、請求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記外側シャフトに連結された駆動モジュールを更に備え、前記駆動モジュールが、前記駆動シャフトに動作可能に連結されたモータを含む、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記外側シャフトが、前記駆動モジュール上の相補的な電気ポートとインターフェースするように構成された電気ポートに連結されて、前記外科用器具に関する識別情報を通信する、請求項8に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記駆動モジュールが、ユーザと通信するためのディスプレイを含む、請求項8に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記モータが、中空コアを有する、請求項8に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記複数のセンサから延在する電気導線が、前記モータの前記中空コアを通って配線されている、請求項11に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記駆動モジュールが、前記モータと前記駆動シャフトとの間に動作可能に配設された遊星ギアボックスを含む、請求項11に記載の外科用器具。
- 外科用器具であって、
外側シャフトと、
前記外側シャフトに連結されたエンドエフェクタと、
前記外側シャフトの内側管腔内に同軸状に配設された回転可能な駆動シャフトと、
前記駆動シャフトの内側管腔内に同軸状に配設された回転しない細長い部材と、
前記回転可能な駆動シャフトの遠位部分に沿って配設された第1の選択的に係合可能なクラッチであって、前記駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達して、前記エンドエフェクタの第1の運動を引き起こすように構成されている、第1の選択的に係合可能なクラッチと、
前記回転しない細長い部材の遠位部分に沿って配設されており、かつ前記第1の選択的に係合可能なクラッチの係合を検出するように構成されている、第1のセンサと、
前記第1の選択的に係合可能なクラッチの近位にある前記回転可能な駆動シャフトの一部分に沿って配設された第2の選択的に係合可能なクラッチであって、前記駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達して、前記エンドエフェクタの第2の運動を引き起こすように構成されている、第2の選択的に係合可能なクラッチと、
前記第1のセンサの近位にある前記回転しない細長い部材の一部分に沿って配設された第2のセンサであって、前記第2の選択的に係合可能なクラッチの係合を検出するように構成されている、第2のセンサと、を備える、外科用器具。 - 前記第2の選択的に係合可能なクラッチの近位にある前記回転可能な駆動シャフトの一部分に沿って配設された第3の選択的に係合可能なクラッチであって、前記駆動シャフトから前記エンドエフェクタにトルクを伝達して、前記エンドエフェクタの第3の運動を引き起こすように構成されている、第3の選択的に係合可能なクラッチと、
前記第2のセンサの近位にある前記回転しない細長い部材の一部分に沿って配設された第3のセンサであって、前記第3の選択的に係合可能なクラッチの係合を検出するように構成されている、第3のセンサと、を更に備える、請求項14に記載の外科用器具。 - 前記第1及び第2のセンサが、ホール効果センサである、請求項14に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記回転しない細長い部材が、前記第1及び第2のセンサに連結されたワイヤを内部に配設させるように構成された内側管腔を含む、請求項14に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記エンドエフェクタの前記第1の運動を検出するように構成された第3のセンサと、前記エンドエフェクタの前記第2の運動を検出するように構成された第4のセンサと、を更に備える、請求項14に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記第3のセンサに隣接する前記エンドエフェクタの一部分に連結された第1の永久磁石と、
前記第4のセンサに隣接する前記エンドエフェクタの一部分に連結された第2の永久磁石と、を更に備え、前記第3のセンサ及び前記第4のセンサが、各々、それらに隣接して位置付けられた前記第1の永久磁石及び前記第2の永久磁石の各々の位置を検出するように構成されたホール効果センサである、請求項18に記載の外科用器具。 - 前記外側シャフトの近位端に連結された近位アクチュエータ部分を更に備える、請求項14に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記近位アクチュエータ部分が、前記駆動シャフトの近位端に連結されるように構成されたモータを含み、前記モータが、前記第1及び第2のセンサから延在するワイヤを収容するための中空コアを有する、請求項20に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記近位アクチュエータ部分が、前記モータと前記駆動シャフトとの間に動作可能に配設された遊星ギアボックスを含む、請求項21に記載の外科用器具。
